Sarawak Kolo Mee (已結業)

As the round market is within walking distance from my house, I have eaten at this popular stall a couple of times already and would never get sick of it as their menu is pretty extensive! They are famous for their sarawak kolo mee, which every first timer here have to try! However, my favourite from this stall is their dumplings! You could always spot a long waiting queue in front of this kolo mee stall, especially during the lunch rush hour, the queue can easily be 20 - 30 people. However, it definitely worth the wait. The kolo is authentically good. It's filled with lots of ingredients: pork ribs are nicely stewed, very soft texture and rich in flavour. We were back at Tampines market to buy lunch again. This time, we choose the other stall that is also with the snake queue to see if it's really good. We bought the signature Sarawak Kolo Mee and it's really yummy. The noodles are all handmade and it's very springy. the famous long queue stall in tampines round market, they have opened a branch in chinatown hawker centre, same thing but a bit expensive price here, maybe because of location, like their kolo mee very much, very unique to this stall, with a bowl full of ingredients, quality is good except the stall is always very slow, need patience to queue, we normally order the assorted mix one as shown, we can eat all their famous wanton and ribs at same time,their kolo mee is addictive, can't find anywhere else in singapore, not bad, for this pricing and hope their service faster, i would go back eat if i got craving again. …查看更多

I was working in Tampines yesterday and had my lunch at the tampines round market. The kolo noodles was nice. I like their springy noodles especially it mixed with their home made chili, which brings the best out of the world. Their sauce is superb, there is a slight sweet aftertaste which makes people want to try more. The pork meat they gave was slightly fatty and since i am on diet, this is definitely a big no no for me. There is both fried and boiled wanton available on my kolo mee. I prefer the boiled one as can do a comparison with the boiled wanton on the noodles and the fried wanton on the last pictures. The boiled wanton is bigger in size and had more meat in it whereas the fried one smaller and with little meat in it, however, it is crispier due to the 'skin' of the wanton.
