We went to Secret Recipe for lunch.. There were lots of people during lunch time but still got seats.I ordered the classic fish and chips.It was quite nice, the fries is normal.. crispy but thick.. The fish is not bad too.Then my colleague ordered satay for sharing.. the satay was fried, I think, so the taste is different, not like the normal satay.. but I do not really like it.There were lots of desserts on the menu, very tempting but we were quite full already after the main course.…查看更多

This got to be my favourite cake from Secret Recipe. This is the combination of freshly roasted macadamia nuts with vanilla cream and coated with white chocolate. It can be a bit too sweet for some but the best way to counter it is to have it with a cup of black coffee. I love especially the crunchiness from the roasted almond and a generous bit of it can be found embedded in the cake. The white chocolate is simply delicious. …查看更多

This deep fried chicken is quite different from the usual chicken cutlets which you will get from other western restaurants as inside of this tender juicy meat is also filled with generous amount of chicken ham slices and fragrant cheese in it too. The cheese has melted in the chicken meat which make the taste really delicious and blend in really well as well . The price is reasonable and the presentation looks great as well! …查看更多

Their cakes are generally yummy, but their food is quite a hit and miss affair. There are some dishes that are worth busting your calorie count for, but some other dishes that are not even worth its relatively cheap pricetag. 1) Prawn Arrabiatta ($12.50) is a limp, weak and bastardized version of the Italian classic. Pasta was overcooked, spaghetti sauce was watery and generic. Only the prawns were fresh2) Grilled Chicken Baked Rice ($11.80) - delicious, rice was moist and evenly coated with a delicate creamy gravy, chicken chunks were tender and plentiful and the cheese melted over the dish was heavenly3) New York Cheesecake ($5.20) - unassumingly indulgent. This is one of the signature and all time flavourite cake from this restaurant. cakes from here really thick slice and the chocolate flavour is very fragrant and not too sweet. The sponge cake is very compact in texture and is more towards the moist version. Unlike the usually cakes which you may need to take at least two slices to fill your stomach, per slice here is good enough to satisfy you.…查看更多

Secret recipe now seems having the year long promotion for “Complete the meal with 2 selected sides at $5” on weekdays. I’ve chose the Cheesy baked rice as my main course, soup and brownie of the day. It’s a so-so lunch as what I’ve expected. The mushroom soup is normal, it’s comes with a small bun. I am surprised the bun is soft and warm. For the baked rice, the rice is a bit dry for me. Too much cheese in the baked rice made me want to puke after I finished half bowl. The serving is quite big and it’s sure can filled you stomach. The brownie is not bad, chocolate cheese brownie if I am not mistaken.
