Yesterday was the beginning of August and I shall start my meal with Seoul garden buffet! The student meal only costs $13.99++. However, if you want to change the soup base, you will have to add up another $3.99++. Well, since we are more concerned about the food, thus, we decided to stick with the original soup based. However, if you want to change the soup base, you will have to add up another $3.99++. Well, since we are more concerned about the food, thus, we decided to stick with the original soup based. For the food wise, I think the variety is too little and the marination was not well done. The beef was not very fresh and it taste so weird with the marination. Chicken is the best food there, however, it makes us sick after too much.

The hygiene will need improvement too. The chairs and beneath the tables are sticky. There are also stains on the cutlery! I am so afraid of food poisoning that I clean all the cutlery before used.

However, the staff there are wonderful. I really like their services!

We went Seoul Garden today to use my husband's NS45 vouchers, we had their Dinner Buffet.Decent space but sometimes may not be enough if there's a crowd/queue. We were lucky we came early. you don't really have to queue to grab the food they are taking orders via computerThey do have a small area for self servicing - Fried Snacks, Fruits, Ice Cream, DrinksFried stuff (samosa, spring roll) wasn't great at all, fries was a little stale as left over. some were even cold. They do have a small area for self servicing - Fried Snacks, Fruits, Ice Cream, Drinks
Fried stuff (samosa, spring roll) wasn't great at all, fries was a little stale as left over. some were even cold. Chicken bulgogi is spicy and palatable; Must try their satay chicken very unique. The prawn they use was abit small and not fresh. Curried flavored Sotong was my favorite. The soup base for the steamboat was light and mellow.

Huge Disappointment

It had been ages since i last visited Seoul Garden. Still remembered my secondary school days , Seoul garden was the 1st choice to go for gathering due to the low price and the wide range of food that they offered. However, i was very disappointed with my recent visit to them.To my surprise, they took away the buffet line and change into an ordering system instead. The only buffet line left behind was for the dessert which includes few choices of ice cream , cakes, fruits and ingredients for sel

It had been ages since i last visited Seoul Garden. Still remembered my secondary school days , Seoul garden was the 1st choice to go for gathering due to the low price and the wide range of food that they offered. However, i was very disappointed with my recent visit to them.


To my surprise, they took away the buffet line and change into an ordering system instead. The only buffet line left behind was for the dessert which includes few choices of ice cream , cakes, fruits and ingredients for self made ice kachang. The condiments are quite pathetic, only 3 kinds of sauce; Maggie chilli sauce, Maggie Tomato sauce and chilli padi in soy sauce
. (where i still remembered they offered quite a wide range of condiments in the past).

The marinated meat for BBQ are normal, however, their seafood was really not fresh! Ordered their flower crab, cockles and cuttlefish. All came with a foul smell and it was so bad that we had to request to change our pot for 3 times. Best part was that non of the staff that changed our pot apologise to us after we complained about the seafood
. They seem to be used to the request!

Really not worth it !!

Seoul Garden Buffet at City Square Mall. Together with my beau, I bought him to city square mall to shop around as this is his first time visiting this shopping mall. As both of us are craving for buffet, we went to Seoul Garden to dine in.

This Seoul Garden is quite different as they are IT-oriented. The food that we wanted will need to click on the computer menu and the food will be delivered to us in a few minutes. Besides choosing food from the computer, we are allowed to take some cooked food (Fries, popiah) , ice cream, drinks and making Ice Kachang on ourselves. However, I feel that their variety of foods can be improved as there are not much varieties to choose from.

Their service was excellent and their environment are also cozy and clean, it was nice to dine in with friends or family.

At Seoul Garden, you will be fond to taste their well marinated meat for your barberque over on their stove. These meat includes thinly cut beefs and chicken. After barberqued, there meats are really juicy, tender and soft. you can eat with their broad lettuces or just eat it by itselfs, either ways also taste delicious. had the seafood hot pot thing in spicy soup. not really recommended. of course it looks nothing like the picture in the menu. all i taste is chilli. the noodle is alright. no special taste to the soup. just spicy. a few bits of seafood in there. couple of prawns which were not deveined. very bad. in restaurant business, deveined prawns is a big no-no! it's like serving crap since the vein is the crap of the prawn! it tastes bitter and yuck. a couple of mussles and clams. really not recommended.

I havent been going there for quite long,Yesterday went there with my friendsWe went during weekday so waiting time was fast,There's quite a lot of choice to choose fromTheir chicken was very well marinated,very tenderThe Waitress was quite friendly too,Once they saw our table full of platesThey will automatic come & clear for usOverall i rate 7/10

A different concept

This is my first time patronizing this outlet of seoul garden with my beau. Its different concept compare to other outlets because its not DIY. All the orders is made through the screen and the staffs will send the food that we ordered after we submitted our orders. The food is group accordingly so it makes it easier for us to choose the variety that we want without the need to search high and low. We ordered herbal chicken soup as our soup base but it doesnt taste as nice as its a little too bl

We ordered herbal chicken soup as our soup base but it doesnt taste as nice as its a little too blend. it only taste alittle better after we had added some of the ingredient in. The meat they marinate is nice and the seafood such as oyster and prawns is fresh and juicy.


But DIY steamboat buffet will still be a better concept because we do not have to wait for the staffs to serve us.

It was my first time I stepped into seoul garden at City Square Mall. It was the same concept as Clementi Mall but EVEN BETTER. You do not have to walk to get your drinks and cooked food. It is all served to you at your table. The curry and tom yum flavour is really delicious, love the way they marinate the chicken. The only thing you need to walk and take is the ice cream.

After the first good experience with Seoul Garden @ Ngee Ann City, I had another class gathering at the outlet at city square mall. This time apart from piling a lot of meat onto the grill, we also ordered all the flavours of ice cream available. Yet again, I found them a let down. Lesson learnt: Seoul Garden is really a meat place, not a dessert place. However, gatherings wise, I would still recommend the outlet at Ngee Ann City because this one at city square mall is very small and the tables

However, gatherings wise, I would still recommend the outlet at Ngee Ann City because this one at city square mall is very small and the tables cannot be rearranged for all to sit together. Moreover, it is not a good place to be if you wanna make lots of nice as well.

It was a totally new concept of BBQing over at the Seoul Garden at City Square Mall. Instead of the usual DIY concept where diners have to take their own food from the buffet table, they can now sit down in comfort and choose the food they want from a computer and they would be served. Sound like something great, especially for people who are lazy and wish to be served. However, one has to be very patient because one may have to wait for nearly 30 minutes for the food to be served, i.e if one is

Holy Cow! Ala-Carte style Steamboat and BBQ

I love coming here, even though there are many Seoul Garden outlets that are nearer to me. It's primarily because they serve all the items ala-carte!And get this, they have flower crab! Wow, I love flower crab, and they only serve it when it's in season. So it's an extra treat, whenever I see it on the menu.And I also love the freshly scopped ice-cream, like chocolate, strawberry and vanilla.It sure beats trying to fight with people to dig at the self service counters.
