I'm a huge fan of carrot cake but this did not make it because...it's way too sweet.I've had Seventh Heaven ice cream before but I never thought I'd be disappointed by their desserts. The carrot cake was overly sweet and I could barely eat anymore a couple spoons in.The redeeming quality is that it took a while for the cake to come out because it was served warm. However, because it was warm the cream was sliding everywhere.At least the carrot cake had legit strips of carrot inside.Service staff

It was reasonable to have desserts when feeling stressed. Because Desserts = stressed. Premium Ice-cream served here, Seventh Heaven produced the freshest and personalized version. Staffs was friendly, place was cozy, it just like what it called, Heaven.Soft and warm waffle matched perfectly with Ice-cream, texture was a nice touch. Just right, waffle was crispy outside while fluffy in the middle. I like Blackforest with moist and denser filling, rich and fragrance of alcohol was satisfying. It

This was a brownie with ice cream search at 10pm. So coffee bean has brownies. Oriole has no brownies. Cold rock has ice cream but... and that brings us to Seventh Heaven. These guys have moved from their previous location in the clouds to level 2 and occupying a much smaller space. But they have! Brownie and ice cream. There's a massive choice for ice cream flavours here including this one that looked like bubblegum pop. might've been called cotton candy or something. I chose cookies and cream.

I decided to try this Superman Mudpie after I saw a video of this mudpie icecream from one of Singapore blogger. My impression of this mudpie when it was being served, colorful as it added a cheerful dimension to the dessert , appealing that I cant wait to try it coz I need to take some pictures first. It was my first time at Seventh Heaven. It was introduced by one of my friend and she mentioned that I have to try this ice cream place. When we arrived, it was full and we had to wait for a while before we found our seat. Perhaps it is because it is a weekend. I ordered the scoop of salted caramel ice cream and it even came with a small scoop of lemon sorbet. My friend ordered the salted caramel with the waffle. I heard from her that the waffle tasted delicious and goes well with the ice cream.

In the Orchard area and decide to stop by for an ice-cream. They have a lot of flavours and I choose the butterscotch with pecan as recommended by the staff.I am impressed by the size of the single scoop, as it not only fills up the entire cup, but sticks out beyond the rim. It is light and teases the palate, making you go for more spoonfuls until you finish the entire cup. I also spot many others enjoying their desserts here.

Well I think the standard dropped quite a lot compared to the last time I had at Raeburn park (had closed down since). I tried quite a bit of their flavor and it's either bland, not milky enough and etc. Finally I decided to have their rum and raisin and salted caramel which seems to be the most promising one for me. Chanced upon this cosy little cafe while me and bf were taking the escalator up inside Orchard Central. We popped inside and while looking at the menu, both of us were spoilt for choices on which dessert to choose from. We decided on something appetizing and healthy which is the waffles with small cut fruits and 2 scoops of ice cream (mango and vanilla flavour). The dish came and we were amazed by the huge serving. I think Seventh Heaven is one of the best places to come for desserts. Sure, not everything on the menu is a hit, but I think it's a matter of identifying the better ones and sticking with it.The last time I was here I tried the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pie and the Marshmallow Brownie Crunch. This time round, I finally got to try the Warm Chocolate Cake. I'm quite disappointed with the pancakes at Seventh Heaven. The place looks so packed and the menu looks really good with a large variety of desserts (after all it is a dessert place) but the pancakes tasted like it was reheated out of a package. Don't expect any fresh pancakes. The ice cream (Rocky Road) was SO SWEET that I can barely make out the chocolate flavour. I just tasted sugar. I would prefer more taste to my desserts rather than eating sugary sweet things.

I decided to try some ice cream from Seventh Heaven Cafe in Orchard Central since I was in the area and it had a vast selection of ice cream with very interesting flavors not offered by other ice cream shops around town, such as Potato chip, Red velvet and Cotton candy. However, after some sampling of the above flavors, I decided to go with Double dark chocolate and peanut butter ice cream since it was the only palatable option out of all 4 that I tried. I was astounded at the dessert selection here - I suppose it's called Seventh Heaven for that very reason! I had the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pie (top left - $8.80) and Marshmallow Brownie Crunch (lower right - $8.80). Peanut butter fans would die for a bite of the peanut butter choco chip pie. Gbk ordered the 'Listen to your heart' tea, which was a combination of fruits and flora. Not sure why he wanted to drink tea from a dessert outlet. (Must be the name of the tea that attracted him.) This was the matrix from 7th heaven. Those were the days when seventh heaven was much much better.
