It was a hot and sunny weekend early noon when i met up with my friends for lunch. The weather was horrid but thankfully it was sheltered along the way. We got down at Chinatown MRT station and it was a short walk to the food centre. I had the chocolate muffin as one of my desserts. Surprisingly, the muffin is still warm when we bought it. This is definitely one of the nicest coconut tarts that i ever had in Singapore. The best one was the one i had in Macau. No other comes close as yet but this one is good enough. I am always on the look out for good coconut tarts. The tart has a distinct buttery taste with nice texture and the coconut filling was perfect, not overly sweet but fragrant.
