CP is a brand of popular ready-to-cook food snacks like their popcorn chicken as well as shrimp wonton. Anyway they recently launched a series of food kiosks, and i stumbled over one at Jem.I ordered Chicky Chix ($2.90) which consists of 2 sticks of fried chicken sticks, which i think is not too bad a deal. Upon ordering, it will be placed in a fryer and heated up. Then you choose from 3 sauces. I initially picked spicy and the staff asked if i want to pick another sauce for the second stick and i chose soy garlic. The chicken stick in soy garlic had some tangy taste. Meanwhile the spicy sauce one stays true to its name. Seriously very spicy. I like the chicken were sprinkled with sesame seeds, which contrasted nicely with the evenly lathered out sauce. The chicken is quite crispy and i think there is more skin than meat. The meat is very tender and succulent. Thumbs up. One can never expect anything lesser than that from this Thailand-based brand.

There is a snack at SNAX where they sell somewhat similar chicken in a cup at the one I ate when I was in korea. SNAX calls it Korean Chicken and they offer three flavours for you to choose from. To match with the opening of JEM, they have this opening special where their Korea Chicken set meal is only $5.50 from 1ppm to 3pm. I was a little sceptical at first if the chicken in a cup was a little overpriced but still ordered it anyway. Well i was wrong, in fact $5.50 was indeed chicken. There were so many pieces of chicken in the cup, and the fries container was pretty huge. the drink was thirst quenching blackcurrent juice. I opted for the soya garlic flavour, the fusion of both the soya sauce and garlic was just right. they seemed to add just the correct amount cos if there was too much garlic flavour, it would be a little spicy. the chicken cubes were very tender and juicy. the fries were crispy and unsalted, so i felt it was kind of healthy.Do head down to try this set, they got two other flavours for their chicken. you will save $2 from their opening special.
