The rojak at Soon Heng is really good and yummy. The portion is also very generous. It only cost me $4. The you tiao and the beancurd were nicely prepared till crisp with the compliments of turnip, pineapple and cucumber. There is only one word to describe the dish - delicious. next time will definitely order a bigger portion,

A revisit to my favourite rojak stall at toa payoh, the queue for this plate of rojak is a pain to wait for but the aftermath is great on the stomach. I love how much peanuts they give for their rojak, so generous! The prawn paste is not too salty though the rojak is a little too sweet, so I’ll ask for lesser sugar next time round. You tiao and tau pok are all crispy too!

Wah biang eh! This stall is a die die must try! I queued for 25 minutes leh but worth it lah! So much peanuts on the rojak and the you tiao and dao pok are so crispy, fresh from the toaster. I admire the uncle who made the rojak man, can stand there mix so many packets and plates without getting tired. I don't think I can even last 10 minutes. The queue was really non stop!

Soon Heng Rojak has been around Tao Payoh for a long time. It use to be in a coffer shop but shifted to this food court. There is always very long queue so you have to prepare to wait. The rojak has pineapple, cucumber, turnip, taupok, you tiao, beansprout and kangkong. Their prawn paste sauce taste great and it has lots of peanuts bits in it. Definitely worth the wait.

Soon Heng Rojak is always very long queue. Each time i need to wait for about 15-30mins. But for the good food, i am willing to wait..Their rojak has pineapple, cucumber, kudzu, taupok, you tiao, cuttlefish, beansprout and kangkong. What makes it so special will be the sauce that they used to mix all ingredients. The rest of the ingredients are quite common. Their supplies are fresh. The smash peanut did contribute too.

Went there at around 3pm, surprisingly not much of a queue. Only waited for 10 minutes and it's my turn to place an order! Ordered a plate of $4 worth. Very generous portion and the "You tiao" is VERY crispy as there's a dedicated person to toast it before serving! They even gave two big splash of peanut on top which is really nice to go with the delicious black prawn paste. In my opinion, If there was mango and more fruits it will definitely complement and make it more perfect!

The key to eating this rojak is to have patience. No matter what time of the day, there is always a long queue. They used to have a number system that allowed you to take a number first and come back later but after the food court underwent a renovation, they abolished the system as well. Now, you are expected to join in the queue and wait for your turn.I was there around 4.30 pm and stood in the queue for about 35 minutes before i gotta order. I was there around 4.30 pm and stood in the queue for about 35 minutes before i gotta order. But if you ask me whether such effort is worthwhile. I am going to tell you it definitely worth every bit of it as this is one of the nicest rojaks in Singapore.

I have to commend on their efforts in insisting on using the freshest ingredients. They are using a rather good prawn paste as a base and have gotten the balance between sweet and sour perfectly. A generous amount of peanuts was given together with cuttlefish, you tiao, tau pok, turnips, cucumber, pineapple, cucumber, bean sprouts etc.

The price has been increased from $2 to $2.50 but still this is a plate of rojak is still very good value in money.

Recommended.

This is a very famous rojak stall at Toa Payoh which is also strongly recommended in the TV show. I am not a rojak person, seldom eat rojak actually because i dont really like the prawn paste which is too fishy and overwhelming. But this is the only rojak i ate as the prawn paste is really fragant and fresh and it taste really really good, and highly recommended. All the ingredents are really fresh. I am not a rojak person, seldom eat rojak actually because i dont really like the prawn paste which is too fishy and overwhelming. But this is the only rojak i ate as the prawn paste is really fragant and fresh and it taste really really good, and highly recommended.

All the ingredents are really fresh. I love especially the tau po, you tiao and pineapple with lots of peanuts!

BUT you must have the patience and time to queue for the rojak! But its defintely worth it.

Today, My parents went to my brother's place to bring my niece to see their family doctor. My mum called me up that they will be at Toa Payoh. True enough, the common conception does apply here too. Prices range from $2.00, $3.00 and $5.00, depending on the portion you prefer. I’m not sure why they don’t have a $4.00 serving but my guess is reason being 4 is an inauspicious number in Chinese belief and would be better if avoided. The same quality of Rojak will be served regardless of any size of order. The highlight of it is how the Rojak will always be topped with a generous portion of crushed roasted peanuts despite being evenly coated with the already peanut-mixed sauce.

The Rojak is indeed well done, probably because of the special prawn paste sauce they use. If you like cuttlefish, just add an additional dollar for an extra amount, otherwise it comes just as a standard portion together with toasted crispy you tiao, fried tau pok, fresh pineapples, turnip, bean sprouts and kang kong.

Don’t be put off by the sound of the long queue, because it’s worth it!
