soup broth asia really sells a fusion of food, from boiled soup to wasabi prawn (jap) to mango salad (thai). we are simply spoilt for choice. i am pleased to say that their mango salad is simply delicious! it is not too spicy and not too sour. but it does whet your appetite. my girlfriend simply loves it alot!

Soup Broth Asia @ Raffles City

While i saw there are many restaurants at Raffles City Shopping Centre, i discovered this restaurant which provide with 3 dishes, a soup with yam rice/fried rice/white rice. I like the dish plates that the restaurant presented it to customers. There are some soups to choose from, with 3 varieties given in a small portion of food which will not be too full and able to try out different dishes. They also have desserts. It taste good and i will go back again to try on other dishes.

the awesome soup place

i was shopping around town with my mummy during the great Singapore sales and we came across this unique soup restaurant. We decided to give it a try. I ordered the Lotus Root with Pork Rib Soup and upsize it to a set meal where they allowed me to choose three mini dishes. I choose the wasabi prawns, kai lan and tou fu. It was really good. The soup was thick and you can Taste that the boiled it for a long long time and the side dishes were awesome. The prawns was fresh as you can taste the swee

Msg free Chinese soup broth

We couldn’t decide on what for our dinner, we were browsing the eateries at basement of Raffles city shopping mall. We stopped at Thai Express and waited for our seats at 5+pm, nobody entertained us at the moment.  We couldn’t decide on what for our dinner, we were browsing the eateries at basement of Raffles city shopping mall. Then I turned my head and saw Soup Broth Asia, it sounded new to me, without hesitation we walked to SBA. There was a waitress greeting us and showed us their menu, my friend just has his braces tightened, he doesn’t mind to have something soupy and soft.

First of all, the waitress led us to the cashier counter as we needed to place our order and settled the bill prior to be seated. Menu is simple and clear, we choose our soup as main course then add on side dishes as optional. They serve 2 types of rice, either plain rice or yam rice (add $1).

We chose Hainanese fish maw soup as it was recommended by the waitress and chicken daikon leek soup, opt for S$4.8 to have 3 side dishes and a drink for each person. We chose wasabi prawn, stew cabbage, soy sauce tofu, sweet & sour pork, stir fried eggplant and Thai mango salad, plus 2 ice lemon tea.

We were free to sit any place as it wasn’t full at around 5+pm. Soon after we sat down, they served the drink, soups were coming up then side dishes, the table seemed too small to house all dishes, we got to play jigsaw puzzle in arranging all dishes ourselves. Side dishes tasted good, it gave me the feeling of ready-cooked all dishes for the day so it could be served immediately once patrons placed their orders. I would say the ice lemon tea was too bland to me.

I am a Cantonese so having homemade broth type of soups are usual for me. What do I like this place, they display calories for each soup, ingredients they use and last but not least NO MSG. First taste of each soup, instantly I love the fish maw soup, soothing to my throat, taste just right, I kept scooping it and almost forgot about the other bowl of soup. Though taste was really good but they serve pig skin instead of real fish maw! OK, came back to chicken daikon leek soup, the sweetness of the soup didn’t approaching to both of us, plus the chicken taste somewhat unusual, obviously it was boiled for long hours but taste just not right.

Confirmed no msg been used, portion wise is quite decent. Whoever wants a mix veggie cum soup meal, this could be a good choice though.

i was shopping around raffles city with my family when we got hungry. My mother suggested we have some hot soup for lunch as the weather was quite cold the past few days. We came across soup broth asia at the basement of raffles city. We each ordered different soups I ordered the peranakan itek tim. It is salted vegetable boiled with duck meat. The soup is sourish and salty. Very nice. You can add side dishes too.

Re-visit to soup broth asia. This time i had their beef stew pot set. I am heading back again for sure!!! It is really delicious. Love the thick broth along with soft and succulent beef with winter melon. Very yummy! I had them with fried rice. Really love their fried rice. I had 3 side dishes namely, potato salad, wasabi prawn and vegetables. I love the salad. Wasabi prawn tasted weird! Won't be ordering that again. Vegetables are crunchy and fresh. Had a very pleasant time yet again =D

My fist visit and i ordered this korean somthing dish. It's actually Chicken Ginseng soup. The soup is very bitter and oily. However their side dished were fabulous! I love their sliced fish and vegetables! Cold tofu were soso only! Loved their fried rice too. I think it's even better than yam rice which my friend have tasted it before!

I have ordered the “Herbal Chicken Soup” with Yam Rice. But actually each pot of soup comes with a bowl of complimentary steam white rice or for your preference you can also add extra S$1.00 to exchange it with either fried rice or yam rice. And since we are sharing, I took up the S$4.80 top-up for set meal that includes a drink (either hot green tea or ice-lemon tea) and 3 side dishes (select one from category of Appetizer, Meat and Vegetable)

Their Herbal chicken soup is very usual compared to those that we have tried from local Chinese restaurant. Imagine spotting some deep-fried dumplings and fresh watercress in your herbal chicken soup? Does this sound interesting! I am sure there are a lot more interesting combination or taste waiting for you to explore at their outlet. Do give Asian soup a try if you love their western soup at “The Soup Spoon”.
