Soup Guru - Food Republic (已結業)

Offering affordable and healthy Hong Kong’s traditional soup, I like to buy my meal here. The soups selling at Soup Guru was boiled constantly to ensure the essence of ingredients inside deeply absorbed to the soup. No MSG added and the Soup was refillable. Naturally delicious, the taste was so decent and straightforward. The sweet-savoury soup was most suitable for elderly, it was good for liver and lung which helps in nourishing organ. Added on 1 bowl of rice, I made it a complete set of meal.

On a warm and sunny day in the humid weather of Dingapore, the best way to cool yourself down is a piping hot pot of soup. It was previously named 'Soup Guru', now it has evolved to Soup King. My Pumpkin Rice ($1.50) that went with a bowl of Ginko Pork Tripe Pepper Soup ($5.50). The rice was really tasty by itself and I could have easily gobbled up 2 bowls. Traces of pumpkin and dried shrimps could be found in the rice. The soup was peppery and spicy! Perfect choice during a rainy day when you wanted to sweat it out. Decided to get something healthy and soupy for lunch, and Soup Guru, located on the top floor of 313 Somerset, inside food Republic fitted my needs.
