As I am in the area for a whole day seminar and could not go too far for lunch, I decide to check my mobile applications for recommendations for lunch. It just happens that I find out that the Entertainer mobile application has a promotion at South Coast restaurant and we decide to go there for lunch. Here one can enjoy one complimentary MAIN MENU ITEM when a MAIN MENU ITEM of equal or greater value is purchased.

South Coast is a Australian bar and bistro that is located at the second floor of Marina Bay Sands, serving causal food in a open social atmosphere. Menu is a simple piece of brown paper on clip board.

grilled Wagyu bavette, cafe de Paris butter, frisee salad, fries
The piece of steak looks quite fatty when served. It is well cooked for medium. The steak slices through easily. It tastes quite juicy and easy to chew. It is served with raw watercess which I do not take to it as it tastes quite bitter.

South Coast burger ($28++)
beef, beetroot, iceberg, tomato, cheddar, mustard mayo, wattle seed bun, fries
The burger is actually quite juicy, with the beetroot giving it a extra crunchy and juicy sweet taste. The patty is juicy and well cooked.

Ice Chocolate ($6.50++)
It tastes not bad, but it is not the thick and rich Australian style type which I have wanted.

We actually also order a juice called Liver cleanser ($9++), but somehow the staff forgetten to key in this order. Since ice water is served and we are rushing to get back to seminar, we decide not to chase after the staff about the forgetten order.

Overall food is not bad but the service is uneven with forgetten order. The staff even forgets about my card when returning me my receipt.

One of my favorite dining venues at MBS will be here! I love the laid back style with good food and reasonable pricing. Service are usually quite alright for my past few visits!

For one of my visits, I happened to take some pictures so i shall shared my reviews on the food and drinks. Took the outdoor seats and despite having a fan, it was initially a bit stuffy but the nice view makes up for it. Immediately ordered a Magners Pear Cider for myself first! Nice and refreshing... Great for the hot weather! I like =)

For the food, I shared the calamari ($13) and the The 5-0 pizza $24 (prosciutto, bacon, pineapple) with my friend. It was a good portion for 2 ladies. Food is pretty good! Right balance of taste and texture. Was enjoying every mouthful of it! Yum!

after work drinks!this was a friday to remember.it's been a long and hard week hey.seeing as how this is a surprise find,i'm puzzled as to how i've missed this out for its full house options along the boardwalk.but this place doesnt do non alcoholic drinks.oh the tragedy.but then there was a saving grace.fries.and really. these fries were carbo heaven.thick, fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside.deliciously addictive with pots of garlic aioli.and thai sweet chilli sauce.or tomato sauce.o
