The tofu is silky smooth and chilled just nicely, and the sauce is SUPER TASTY! you don't have to worry about this dish (or any of the dishes in this restaurant for that matter) being plain, because the sauce is ultra rich with flavour, thick and oozy. oh gosh. it's lovely! and of course the pork floss adds a nice touch to this already perfect dish (:the fried chicken with sesame oil and sauce ($9) is another favourite of ours at this restaurant. the sesame oil adds a wonderful fragrance to this dish, and i love pouring the sauce into my porridge (:since it is created to be paired with porridge, the friend kangkong with chili & belachan ($7) here is especially potent! now, i love chili, and i would say i have a pretty good tolerance for it, but this is HOT! haha, i love it! (: it gives a really solid kick, but pair it with the porridge because it's really spicy (:all the dishes in this restaurant have robust flavours that go well with a simple bowl of porridge. and the piece of sweet potato in the porridge tops it off wonderfully.this is actually the first time i'm trying the chinese pancake with red bean paste ($10) at this restaurant! i got a shock when the plate arrived on our table - it was pretty huge! i was slightly worried about finishing it (after all, it was only 3 of us dining), but i needn't have. it was absolutely delicious, we polished it off easily! the crust was flaky and crispy, and there was a generous amount of red bean paste in every piece. this has to be one of the best red bean paste pancakes i've ever eaten! 繼續閱讀

Taiwanese porridge here is really good and i love the sweet potato porridge the most. The pieces of sweet potato adds a sweetness to the plain porridge which is also good on its own. Order the different taiwanese side dishes to accompany the porridge and the porridge would taste exceptionally good. Love the steam peanuts and the mei cai(picked vegetables) with the porridge. 繼續閱讀

As said I love porridge and with taiwanese porridge, I love most dishes that accompany the poridge and my favourite will be the chye poh omelette, mei chye kuo rou(stewed pork) and claypot brinjal(sorry forgot to snap a picture on this dish).These three are my usual pick. And with taiwaneses porridge, sweet potato will definitely be added in it. This restaurant has many nice and popular dishes too and usually the place are nearly occupied during meal time, so better to make reservations before going. 繼續閱讀
