Decided to reward myself with a cheesecake from Starbucks after a long day of studying in school. I always loved their Raspberry White Chocolate Cheesecake. The hearty cheesecake, with just the right amount of sweetness from the white chocolate and raspberry never fails to cheer me up when I am feeling stressed or upset. To top it up, the very friendly barista offered me a new creation she was trying out! It was some kinda red bean drink that was too bad tasting, but I think it being free just makes it even more awesome hahaha. I love free stuff! #cheapo

With the Starbucks card, one can redeem a cake of choice with the purchase of a cup of beverage during the birthday month. I had a hot white chocolate mocha, with the cheesecake. It lights up my day to see that the barista are putting in efforts with the coffee arts too, but on rare occasion when there is no long line of customers waiting. The cheesecake is average tasting, nothing fanciful. Still, nothing better than to have a cup of coffee, and cake to go with, anytime.

The cake is soft and moist. Do not taste like the usual hard and keep forever type. The cake is full of dried fruits such as raisins on top, covered with jam. Inside it is nutty and fruity with prune and nuts.

This Starbucks outlet at U Town is said to be the largest Starbucks in Singapore. It's huge so I definitely believe it! It gets quite crowded during the day with people studying, but if you come during the weekend or school holidays it's quite relaxing. For my breakfast I ordered an Americano coffee and a lemon blueberry scone. The staff warmed up the scone, and it was very good with the slightly tart scone sweetened up from the icing. Yum. The coffee is always good too. The staff are young and friendly, and the best part is that this Starbucks offers a 10% discount for students.

If you are a person who doesn't like to drink bitter coffee, then you have to try Vanilla Latte! The first sip is a little bitter but after that, the drink became quite nice Not too bitter yet not too sweet. But do remember to stir the coffee before drinking. I like drinking this as the sugar level is not high and it can keep me awake Very refreshing too! The service is good and the waiting time is quite short.
