This Starbucks outlet at Jem definitely has a very nice cosy environment and is very spacious. As I was in a rush to another place, I did not have my drink in the restaurant. Have buy back the White Chocolate Frappacino with whip cream here which in less than ten minutes my drink is ready to pick up. Service here is very friendly and fast. For the price of $6.90, is consider quite worth it. White chocolate is really fragrant and texture of the drink is thick as well. Would have been better if not too sweet. The added whip cream make it even more fragrant as well.

Caramel coffee chiffon cake $6.50There was not much coffee taste and I could barely taste it. The caramel was lightly flavoured and not too sweet while the chiffon cake was light and airy. Molten chocolate cake 6.50I had requested for this to be heated up but it did not feel warm sadly. Chocolate did not flow out too but the cake itself was moist and very chocolate-y. Service was very very slow.

JEM is the BEST thing to happen to the western part of Singapore and residents from Boon Lay and Clementi to Bukit Batok and Chua Chy Kang obviously think so too. JEM is thronging with people weekdays and weekends and the heartlanders descend in the mall once it opens with the crowds swelling as the day progresses peaking at dinner time. No surprises that the strategically located Starbucks Cafe is ALWAYS busy. Kudos to the team of baristas who deliver brisk, cheerful, efficient and friendly service non-stop from am all day into the evenings Grande Espresso Frappucino $6.60 with a slice of Raspberry White Chocolate Cheesecake $6.50 were assembled within 5 minutes and had to go as all the seats had been taken up on Sunday. Espresso gave me the badly needed caffeine fix without being overly sweet. Raspberry cheesecake was rich, smooth, creamy and very filling. No need for dinner after such a satisfying coffee break, and completely energized for another bout of intensive shopping.

During these hot weathers, iced beverages are always so welcoming to me. I went to Starbucks to get myself an Iced Caffe Mocha. I preferred iced beverages to the frappe from Starbucks is because when you drink too fast for the frappe, you well get brain freeze. for those iced beverages, it will not happen. i ordered their mocha is because of the fragrance of the coffee. i like that is has some bitterness to it and so will not be too sweet. Really enjoyed the drink.

My first visit to Starbucks at JEM. I ordered my Red Bean Green Tea Latte with a slice of cake; I choose the Raspberry White Chocolate Cheese Brulee. Well, I will first elaborate on the food; the cake was sweet and creamy. There is a very strong cheesy aftertaste. I am not a cheese cake lover, but i really like the cheesy taste left on my tastebuds.The raspberry add a little sourness to the cake, which prevent people for getting sick after eating it. Next is the drink, the green tea latte is as usual nice and creamy, leaving a mild leafy aftertaste and chewing red beans were all fat and chewy. Every bite allows some red bean 'juice' to squeeze out of it. The environment is very cozy, although is a small outlet in a corner, you will have a home-like feel there.
