I first heard about Sumo House from a friend and I see that it is quite a popular joint for its wallet-friendly prices and decent food. So one day i asked my friend to bring me there to see what the hype is about. I ordered the Nabeyaki Udon which is actually udon noodles served in a pot. If you are looking for reasonably priced and not not bad tasting Japanese food, do try Sumo house. They have relatively cheap bento sets. This is their teriyaki chicken bento set complete with baby octopus. Their teriyaki chicken is savoury and delicious tasting. It is tender as well. The baby octopus has a thick rich taste for the paste. A set like this costs about $6.

Sumo House is well known for it's cheap and good Japanese food among the residents and students around the area. Sumo House is one of the cheapest japanese restaurants I have ever eaten at. And the food is not bad for the price. This is their udon. The noodles are chewy and tasty like all udon noodles. The prawns used in their tempura are very crunchy, fresh and full of the sweetness from it. The size of the prawns are decently big which are very filling and satisfying with the japanese fragrant rice, cold mashed potato and some side salad on the bento container too. Its the weekend, as usual went out with the boy and had our lunch in Sumo House. I was not really hungry that afternoon so we decided to order this unagi + tempura set plus another one bowl of rice. We start with the orange first served as the appetizer then we proceed to eat our meal! My boyfriend loves unagi and i loves the tempura. Haha. It costs only $12.90+.

A simple Japanese restaurant offering affordable jap cuisine. Taste is comparable to price and indeed very worth it. The udon set that i ordered cost $6.90. No service charge at all. the sushi is not bad but the udon could have been better. It would be better if there’s a bigger gap between the tables.

The sushi is not bad.The rice's softness is just nice,and i like the vinegar taste.After eating those sushi,i still feel hungry,so i ordered the Udon.My friend dont like udon becausse they say that it is too fat.But i like it.The thickness is very special,and it's like eating big big mee.but the soup is just normal,nothing special.A bit too salty and not saturated also.

:It's Sumo again! I accompanied my friend for lunch. I didn't have much appetite so I only get myself a plate of gyoza. It's quite a nice appetizer when you don't feel hungry or just don't have much appetite. It's a bit hard and crispy. I like to dip it with mayo but when I went they don't serve with mayo but vinegar. It taste nice. Will order again on my next visit.

Sumo house is one of the cheapest Japanese Restaurant I've been to. The price range from about $5-10 for a bento set. The food there is slightly above average. I used to eat Katsudon so decided to try something different this time round. I tried Japanese fried rice. It's a bit oily and salty. They provide free flow of green tea too. So this can help you digest better. The next time I go I would want to try the curry udon which I wanted to try for very long time.

My friends and i decided to meet somewhere near us and have our dinner settle at Sumo house which is located at AMK. So a group of us got seated and started ordering food. Overall, i think the dining is not bad. The food is reasonable especially when we are still students. I do not like the part where i have to go personally to the counter for payment. But still, great food at affordable price

Went there with friend for lunch. The standard of the food is good and the price, cheap. I ordered a Tempura Bento Set and the portion was quite big for a me. The rice was real Japanese rice (albeit not that high quality but still good enough). My tempura looks ok at first, but at the end of the meal all my tempura looked soggy. It's pretty good if you don't think about all the preservatives you're eating. Most importantly it's very fast.

As you walk past AMK , you will never fail to notice their banner and signboard of Sumo house Jap restaurant. Even though they said , their jap food is the cheapest but i feel that there is not completely right.... Although,their have cheapest Katsudon which is only $2.90...but there is only one price at $2.90..while the rest is$2.90 and above...... they said they provided free flow of green tea but do take note that is HOT green tea . i ordered the $2.90 while my friend ordered another one at $
