Always been a fan of Japanese cuisine and decided to head to sushi tei again for the nice scallop and the other dishes. Salmon sashimi is fresh and the thickness is just right. They are placed on top of a bowl of ice to retain its freshness and taste. The thing about Bedok Point is that the parking's awful. There's only 1 basement for parking, so it gets real jammed up real fast during peak hours. If you're thinking of dining there, go during the off-peak dining time, or park at the multi-storey carparks at the HDB estates nearby. A while ago, Sushi Tei offered a promotional lunch menu and the soft shell crab curry pasta caught my eye. I have always been a soft shell crab lover - its delicious either in tempura or in sushi roll. The soft shell crab was also easy to eat - no cracking was needed and the whole thing was edible! The Japanese curry was delicious in pasta - a little sweet and not too spicy.

I have always liked dining at sushi tei because the food is better (in my opinion) than sakae sushi. However, I was rather disappointed this time. I ordered the fried vegetable tempura rice, as I have tried their tempura before and was not bad. The vegetable tempura I had was very oily, and there was nothing else other than that and plain rice. I couldn't even finish half of it. Not recommended to try this dish.

Recently, I went to Sushi Tei for my lunch. I was with a friend and we ordered our own dishes plus a dessert to share. I got the dai dai roll (which I think costs $12) for myself. It is sushi wrapped with mango and crabstick and there is also a salmon sashimi on top of the roll, and topped with flying roe. We had a special occasion to celebrate a friend's birthday and we decided to have dinner at Sushi Tei at Bedok Point as the location was very convenient for us and all of us enjoyed Japanese food. Sushi Tei serves quality Japanese food at an average price. I ordered the soft shell crab sushi which costs around $13. The sushi were fresh and the soft shell crab were crispy.

Had unagi don today. Wasnt very good but wasnt that bad either. The unagi fish was quite well done and the sauce and egg too. We shared the sashimi salad. I think the sashimi isnt very fresh. The chawanmushi wasnt very tasty either.I think its just the sushi tei at bedok point that is bad. The one at orchard is quite good and i usually enjoy my time there. But for this, i think its just bad. Food wasnt great and service was just an ok.

I ordered the cha soba from Sushi Tei, Bedok Point outlet. The soba was served with the ice and topped with seaweed which tasted both refreshing and delicious. These soba are made of buck wheat noodles. They tasted smooth and tangy on the taste buds. It costs $10 for the meal and I enjoyed it.

Went there with colleagues for dinner. After reading the menu, I decided to order Soft Shell Crab, Salmon Don and Hotate Miso Mayo. The soft shell crab was averge. It not really hot and a bit oily. It quite crispy and the crab was very fresh. The salmon don was not bad too. This mall is a new mall and the sushi tei is a new choice in this new mall. The place is nice and also very clean, the waitress is helpful when i asked her what she would recommend me and she recommend me tuna don. For sashimi lovers this is a place you will want to try their sashimi as it is super fresh and i'm loving it till now! pricing wise still alright about $6 a plate of salmon sashimi =)
