Surrounded by too many food stores, I really didn’t notice there was such dessert place. Sweet Spring was a Taiwanese cum Hong Kong style eatery which targeted to all-aged patrons, impressive traditional décor inside. Menu offered was extensive, we were just spoiled for choice. Service wise, it was actually quite short-handed yet staffs action was prompt and fast. Here we have such huge wooden tub, it came in two sizes either 2 servings or 4 servings. Here we have such huge wooden tub, it came in two sizes either 2 servings or 4 servings. Silky soft in texture, beancurd was originally not sweetened. But a bottle given, we were allowed to add diluted honey syrup in our desired amount. Each of my spoon was full of decent fragrance, heavenly scoop of runny beancurd. I would plan my next trip for other desserts, promise.

Yep! that's bean curd. I love to eat bean curd here as I can put in as much honey as I wish to. THere's is a big container of sugar on the table ^^ And by order 1 of these you can share it and take it out to your own bowl and have it. THe bean curd is very smooth and there is not a single scratch on it's surface. That makes me feel like just stare at it's beauty and not eat it at all. It's very fun to eat with friends and bring them here for dessert ;) There is also a very nice and tasty mango s

Yep! that's bean curd. I love to eat bean curd here as I can put in as much honey as I wish to. Last few weeks ago, went to shopping with friends at serangon. When we pass by the sweet spring shop, felt like having food inside. I tried the food at sweet spring before but in different outlet. I visited the sweet spring at AMK outlet before. The food tasted alike. The pork ribs noodle tasted normal. Nothing impress. But the saltiness of the soup just nice for me.

This shop offers quite a wide range of hot and cold desserts which most of them are my favourite. But if i really need to choose one among all, that will be their hot peanut dessert. The peanut paste is really smooth and thick in texture. It is very creamy and full of the natural flavour from the peanut and it is also not too sweet. The portion is quite alright and the price is quite affordable too.

I really like the Soya bean curd there. It is piping hot and has a silky texture. One good thing is you can control the sweetness level as it is up to you to add in the sugar syrup. They also serve very good siew mais there. Very good and efficient service on the whole. Sweet Spring is the ideal dessert and snacks restaurant that I am so wanted to own one in the future, and i will definitely patronise again!

After hanging around, we decided to grab some dessert. Straight away we head to this restaurant. I ordered Barley With BC Skin and Ginko. First tought, it would quite huge bowl but when the dessert arrived, I was totally disappointed. It was in small bowl and not really worth the money. First try, the barley was well cooked and the BC skin and ginko was nice too. The soup was not really sweet for me.

It is my first time eating Homemade Soya Beancurd serve in a wooden bucket just like the olden day! Brown sugar syrup and white sugar syrup are provided too, and you may add your desirable amount base on your liking. The beancurd is smooth and silky, as you can feel not much of preservative added. one bucket is S$4.50, enough serving 2 pax. they have also bigger bucket for 7-8 pax.

Each parcel consists chunk of meat, mushroom and a salted egg yoke. It all depends on how you prefer your steamed glutinous rice to be, for me this might be too over-cooked as I find the rice rather too sticky. But this can be a light flavour for those who do not like the traditional dumpling taste whereby five-spice powder, dried shrimp or etc are used.
