We at Swenson T2 seem my last visit. I missed the special Claypot spicy Laksa only served here. Not famous but my childhood memories. The space is huge as before and lot of people from local I think. Ha. Ordered a spicy clappot laksa and chicken Teriyaki. Even though the place is almost full, the services is good. Finally the food arrived on our desk. I missed those Laksa aroma taste. It was so good and taste shiok. Togather with 2 middle size prawns , chicken etc. but dish size is smaller compared to before. Ha. If they can increase it more spicy than it is be best. Terikaya chicken serving look bigger than other outlet and taste good too. The chicken is tender and special teriyaki sauce made a good combination. This place is a good place for relax and meet up. Will come back in coming holiday again. 繼續閱讀

I remembered Swensen’s as a casual diner where we often celebrated birthdays for friends and colleagues back in the 1990s and 2000s. Dining at Swensen’s was such a treat then as the whole big group of us could share a mega Earthquake sundae that came in a spectacular smoky dry ice effect that never failed to make all us go ‘waaaahhhh’.When I went to the airport to pick up the husband who was back from Korea, we were looking for a place to lunch. He mentioned that he hadn’t tried Swensen’s before since moving to Singapore so I gave him a treat to welcome him home.Cheese sticks are always one of our to-order sides if we see that on the menu. So it’s not surprising that we opted for it even though there are other new stuffs on the menu to try. These are perfectly fried to a crispy crust. There’s nothing much to really rave about these sticks. I mean, they are just some decent CHEESE. But at least they aren’t greasy though deep-fried. I wish the cheese was a little less chewy. The mozzarella cheese used isn’t of the best grade but I can certainly enjoy a few more plates with ice cold beer!I used to always order their Crayfish Pasta but decided to switch to Chilli Crab Pasta instead for a change. We were a little disappointed when this was served to our table. We all know how pictures on menus can be deceiving and the picture for this dish shows a crispy, deep-fried to golden brown soft shell crab on top of the spaghetti but the crab here looks a little limp and unappetising. And true enough, it is because the crab has been soaked in oil (this happens when the frying oil is not hot enough!) so it’s greasy when you bite into it.The sauce wasn’t too bad though. It doesn’t taste like chilli crab sauce but it’s more like a sweeter version of mee goreng. Though it’s supposed to be spicy, we couldn’t taste any tinge of fire. We do like the big chunks of white fish fillet & crabsticks with plenty of mushrooms. We finished the entire plate pretty fast as we were hungry. To continue reading, please visit http://springtomorrow.com/2013/10/31/swensens-changi-airport-terminal-2-arrival-hall/ 繼續閱讀

As there is time before check in, I decide to have a quick bite first. Looking at the list of eateries that are 24hours operating, we decide on Swensen's. At terminal 2, it is quite spacious. At past midnight, there is not much crowd. We are showed to a booth seat table. Iced water is also served to us.Being not very hungry, so I have ordered a Tuna Ciabatta ($13.80++). The sandwich tastes not bad, but it too much a serving for me. The fries are crispy but cold. The coleslaw is well seasoned. Also order a Chendol Milk Shake Float ($7.50++), which tastes thick and creamy, with lots of green Chendol jelly and sweet red beans.Overall very tasting and filling meal. Service is not bad too. 繼續閱讀

Was having craving for ice cream at 11pm and where can we find it at this hour? Hubby suggests going to Changi Airport T2 for Swensen that is open 24hours daily. Menu for dinner and supper is different. Most of the dishes that are on the main menu are not available but luckily our favourite fish and chips are available for supper. The fish is nice with the crispy breadcrumbs skin. Eat this with their tartar sauce and chili sauce is best combination. The coleslaw that comes with this fish and chips is nice too. have this milo dinosaur milk shake with milo ice cream as my desserts satisfaction... nice and yummy... the milo ice cream enhances the milo making it thicker. 繼續閱讀

I feel somehow that Swensen's standards have dropped over the years. This time round I found that their mozzarella cheese sticks a tad salty but edible, and their chicken baked rice sauce bland. The highlight of the meal was probably the chips which were thick cut and piping hot! But the tragedy of it all is that the size of their Earthquake Sundae has shrunk! Oh the unfairness of it all! 繼續閱讀
