Swissbake (巴耶利峇)

It was afternoon tea-break moment, and a client appointment ended early. So we found ourselves looking for places for tea - and I thought SwissBake was rather good choice - quiet, spacious and offers a large assortment of savoury and sweet pastries. Plus, the Paya Lebar Square outlet is new, and there are tables by the floor-to-ceiling glass walls, giving it a lovely setting at once.For food, we had a wedge of that interesting KraftKorn Sandwich (SGD$8.90) - made with wheat, soya, sunflower seed

For food, we had a wedge of that interesting KraftKorn Sandwich (SGD$8.90) - made with wheat, soya, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, rye and oats. There are several flavors available and hers was the Turkey Ham and Cheese sandwich. As the list of ingredients goes, one could easily deduce that this is a healthy and nutritious sandwich filled with goodness; taste was good but a little dry in texture.

For beverages, I had a Blackforest Latte. It was an interesting concoction of milky coffee with a rich layer of chocolate at the bottom as well as bits of chocolates or berries (grounded into really fine pieces so could not really decipher which was it) . Overall, the creamy texture and taste was quite good, but I still think that blackforest goes better with a mocha-based beverage over latte.
