Situated at an industrial like canteen I think.. the food is definitely cheap no doubt about it..Food is decent for the price and serving is not miserly But don't hope for truly authentic thai food.. it's more like your normal zhi char shop quality..But kudos to the team there, very fast and efficient! We had all our dishes up in ard 15min.Belachan kang kong is soso - The kangkong could have been in the wok a little longer, was still a little crispy not very softStar of dishes will have to be the fried calamari.. crispy fragrant and tender, not rubbery - good!The prawn vermicelli - Prawn is fresh, but flavour of tang hoon not flavourful enough.. very mild wine flavour - sch a pity.Prolly won't come again

This zhi cha stall has been around Yishun for quite a long time. It used to be located in the food court at Sembawang Shopping Centre. Later it became a no fills stand alone restaurant in the shopping centre. Now it is located in the coffeeshop in the industrial area in Yishun. The stall is known for its thai style food and its reasonable prices. It has been a hot favourite with the nearby residents and long queues are often seen during weekends.Stir fried bean sprouts ($7)Crunchy and simple.Deep Fried Fish ($19)This is one of my favourites. Spicy chilli sauce is being poured over the crispy fish. Looks simple but nice.Sweet and Sour Pork ($10)A hot favourite with the young ones.Lemon Chicken $10Sambal Long Bean $9It is spicy and crunchy.Claypot Tofu $9Average in taste.Rice ($3)Overall food is great and served quite fast.

Second time trying out new dishes of this restaurant known as taste of Thailand , if not recommend by friends I won't have know of this place due to desert area .We ordered their specialize dishes deep fried fish , tofu soup . The deep fried fish was well fried and was crispy , the meat was fresh as well , the tofu soup come with prawns , peas ,carrots was delicious too

Was recommend by my Bestie this place, thanks to him!! It's noisy if you dine in because it's usually full house on weekends, very popular location for small and big family dinners...by the way, no reservations can be made on weekends...I've tried a variety of the food and yes, they're all tasty!! Typical zi char style, but made very affordable...It's considered cheap compared to coffee shops zi char...I love their Deep Fried Fish, definitely one of the highlights of the evening...Everyone seemed to love it! Perfectly fried with a crispy coating without drying out the flesh of the fish...
