Sometimes it is good to try out the western food in kopitiam to compare the food standard with the various cafes in Singapore. Here I am trying out on the chicken chop as well as the chicken wing set from Tenderfresh which is famous for its western food in the neighbourhood. First of all, the chicken chop set look appealing, with a huge serving of the chicken as well as a slice of the garlic bread. The side dish includes coleslaw, baked beans and fries with some seasonings. The chicken chop is well marinated and cooked and also has a tender texture. The seasoning of the sauce is just nice and go very well with the chicken chop. The fries are well deep fried as it has a crispy texture. As for the chicken wing set, the crispiness of the chicken wing can be heard when taking the first bite. The batter is well mixed, not too thick and salty. Lastly, the rice has a light buttery taste which enhance the taste of the chicken wing meal. Overall the price is reasonable and the taste is good as well.

For $2.60, you can get a delicious Chicken or Fish Burger. With a slice of cheese, some vegetables and a piece of chicken or filiet, top with some ketchup or chilli sauce, its really heavenly. This time, I choose the fish burger, without vegetable. The fish filiet is not overfried, just nice. The outside is crispy, while inside is soft. The burger is slightly toasted, added with a piece of melted cheese, it really makes it a good supper.
