We decided to go for the most popular pork ribs noodle. The noodle was so-so, it was the pork ribs that many will die for. The pork ribs were braised in rich and well-seasoned flavourful gravy for many hours, so as to achieve the ultimate tenderness and the full absorption of the essence from the gravy. The hours of cooking softened the pork ribs so that the meat practically falls off freely from the bone when bitten, so soft that even the bone can be eaten without too much of an effort chewing. This is another stall that attracts a long queue of customers everytime! Judging from the advertisements on their signboard, the hot seller seems to be the Pork Rib noodles! My family loves eating pork rib noodles and we would always buy from this other hongkong noodle stall at the round market. I remember ordering the mushroom chicken noodles from this stall sometime back and it was just so-so. We decided to forgo having our favourite hk pork rib noodles today and give this stall a try! The pork ribs were tender but they had slightly more fat than the other stall. Also, my mom prefers the sauce used by the hongkong stall. In conclusion, I don't think it is worth queuing so long for this.

This noodle stall always has a queue when I am there. You can order the dry or soup version.The dry version noodle is cooked well but what is special is the very soft pork ribs that practically melt in the month.I always request for super soft pork ribs for my elderly dad and the lady always obliged but taking the trouble to look for soft bone pork rib.I saw the hard boiled egg was well braised to a dark soy color which look like the hard type which my family like, so I added the hard boiled egg and braised chicken wings as extra order. The chicken wings look a bit like the HK Swiss Chicken Wing. You can tell that it has been cooked for a long time, as one bit, the meat tear off easily.

Nothing beats the nice and tasty pork ribs noodles. Eat it dry and spicy. Add another side plate of wings and mushroom...Heavenly... Not recommended to go too early else the ribs are not soft enough yet. The soup is a signature item too with heavy anchovies taste. The stall prides itself with the soft bone texture of the ribs and you are guaranteed a long queue especially on weekends. Self service though
