Fish slices soup with mee suaFish slices soup with thick beehoonMy hubby has tried this stall before and remembered it was pretty good, hence we decided to try it again today - I chose mee sua while he went for the usual thick beehoon. The batang fish slices were fresh and and quite a lot of pieces were given. However, I'm not sure if it's because we were the last 2 customers (around 8 pm, the owner started to clean up the stall) and the owner decided to be more generous with the fish slices. The amount of bee hoon given was also quite a lot, which is good for fattening my hubby up. Quality of the mee sua and thick beehoon were ok as well. The taste of the soup was normal, not too bad. They did use a bit of fish bones to make the soup. However, I believe it was better the last time round, as can be seen by my hubby's slightly disappointed look. Oh well, perhaps the standard of the soup varies. Hmm, you can still try this stall if you're looking for something healthy for your meal, but perhaps do not expect the meal to be fantastic though.
