Went old airport road hawker centre for lunch as there's lots and lots of variety to choose from. we come here very often, sometimes 3 times a week.my husband loves the laksa here but i am getting rather sick of it as this week we are eating here almost everyday now. it's very spicy compared to other places. and they use mainly teochew fish balls and fish cakes made from their teochew fish balls and fish cakes stall next door. the service is friendly and efficient. the takeaway is in a paper bowl, not plastic, which is great as we don't like plastic. the noodles are springy and fresh. you can choose from a few different types of noodles.…查看更多

Not many places have a good bowl of white kway teow. White kway teow dishes are your average kway teows served without chilli paste and ketchup, but with vinegar. You can have a choice of either white vinegar or black vinegar.The black vinegar kway teow i got was nothing special. I think franchising at times spoils the expectation. Even without chili and ketchup, this noodle is still nice. Probably it is because the sauce of the noodle is flavorful and salty enough. The noodles come with 2 fishballs (I guess they are handmade), slices of fishcake and the fishcake kind of otah. It is probably one of the better fishball noodles around.
