The overall taste and appearance of the chicken rice set is appealing and tasty. The rice is not as fragrance as per expected and it tasted quite normal. The steamed chicken tasted delicious with a tender texture and juicy flavor which helps to enhance the overall taste when eaten with the rice. The soup is perfect in taste as it is not too bland nor salty, moreover, it is not too oily.

Wanted to grab a quick bite so we popped by here as I felt like having chicken rice. Friend suggested that we have a set each and add a bowl of shuijiao soup. The set ($6) consist of rice, chicken, vegetables, soup and a drink. Turned out the meal was actually very satisfying. The rice is flavourful, the chicken is tender and the soup is very tasty. The barley drink was very sweet, though. The only gripe I have is the vegetable - it's drenched in oyster sauce. The shuijiao was not bad as well. The filling is quite enough and without that 'porky' taste. It's quite good. Won't mind going back again.

Was at Killiney Road and decided to have chicken rice for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised at the Chicken Rice set that they had, costing only $5.80 and including a free lime juice.The chicken was fragrant and succulent. Ordered the "White Chicken (boiled)" version and couldn't resist eating the chicken skin. The chilli sauce just right, and together with the vegetables and soup, it made a perfectly balanced meal. The lime juice was a little sweet but it help to wash it all down.Will come back again if I am around the area.
