I was invited by friend to have Tim Sum situated on the 52th floor of Capital Tower, China Club. According to her, the restaurant is exclusive for membersonly. Also, they are offering 50% off dim sum on Saturday. I was late for lunch as i was held up with work. It took quite a while to get up to the restaurant. You have to take evelator to Level 2,  inform the receptionist that you are going up to the restaurant and she will hand you an access card. With the access card, take lift to level 37 and change to another lift to level 52th. Good exercise beofre you get to eat you food!Only the Tim sum are offered at 50% off. The rest of the dishes are at normal prices. Frankly speaking, the TimSum served are so so. it does not have a "WA" effect. The fried noodles is a bit oily. The mapo eggplant sauce is nice, though. However if compared to mapo sauce at shisen hanten, i still prefer the later. You can feel the "ma" in your mouth almost immediately.overall, it is a good experience as i will never get a chance to visit such "posh" restaurant without invitation from friend.  繼續閱讀

Situated on the 52th floor of Capital Tower, China Club offers a very good view of the area. It is only open to members, and selected credit members. Since my friend got the credit card, we joined him for the dim sum lunch, which is at 50% off on Saturdays. At 50% off, the price is almost about the same as other dim sum outlets. So can try. Recommend the Deep fried shrimp and scallop dumpling wrapped with crispy bread roll. The shrimp and scallop are fresh with some sweetness. The while dumpling is crispy but don't feel the oilyness.  Also recommend the baked char siew bao.The meat has a wonderfully alluring fragrance, a lovely balance of sweet and savoury flavours. The dough is cottony and airy. The service is very good and a lot of attention are given to us during our time there. The staff are also very friendly. 繼續閱讀

The ‘windows’ are made of 16 metre tall glass; one can admire the spectacular views across Singapore while enjoying traditional Chinese food. The China Club was set up in Singapore in 2001; it forms part of the family of The China Clubs in Beijing and Hong Kong which has become synonymous with the best of executive clubs. The décor is very oriental; furniture, curtains, lighting and paintings screams Chinese!Assorted Dim Sum. The steamed prawn dumpling (har gao) was memorable as the prawn was huge and fresh, with a hint of sweetness.Pan seared fillet of Kurobuta Pork Vietnamese style. Now I understand why Kurobuta pork is the most highly priced pork in Japan. The savory sauce complemented the sweet and juicy meat of the pork perfectly.Steamed fillet of Marble Goby with pickled radish. The meat was fresh, smooth, sweet and fine. Braised whole abalone with superior oyster sauce. I was wowed by the generous serving of this Chinese delicacy. I love the chewy texture and buttery aftertaste of abalone; the oyster sauce enhanced the flavor of the abalone well.Stirred fried vermicelli Teochew style. From this course, we can see that the menu was well planned. Towards the end of the meal, when guests are already becoming full, a light carbohydrate dish more suitable then the usual glutinous rice, fried rice or noodles.Chilled sea coconut with aloe vera. Since I don’t like sea coconut, I didn’t eat it. The chilled soup was refreshing and not overly sweet.Mini Chinese Pancake. The red bean paste was extremely smooth and sufficiently moist, a lovely way to end the scrumptious meal. 繼續閱讀
