I think I've just about tasted quite a variety of Carrot Cakes that are offered in Singapore. Every time I see a carrot cake, there's this craving for me to consume it.The carrot cake was filling and there were carrot slices inside. The cream was thick and not too sweet, but a tad thick and overly creamy. Somehow i always quite like the sandwich at coffee bean. It's simple and nice and i like it that they always include a portion of salad. The dressing is kind of nice and sweet too! Yum!Don't think i've try smoked salmon before so decide to order that. Love the bread and the they were quite generous with fillings so i'm a very happy customer cause i love smoked salmon. Had a hearty breakfast at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. I ordered Brek 'O' Day, served with plain french toasts, chicken sausages, scrambled eggs, strawberry jam, butter and salad. Talkingabout the salad. They served fresh lettuce topped with cherry tomatoes, cranberries and flake almond. Yum! This breakfast served together with a cup of tea or coffee as a set. Bought a slice of Boston Nut Brownie Cake from The Coffee Bean as a gift to a friend the other day.There were so many choices for me to choose from, finally I chose this brownie cake!The brownie cake really attracted me because it looked really chocolatey and fudgey!!Bought it for about $4 - $5, which is not really expensive lar.Had a few bites of the cake, and just like the name, I'm confused whether it's a brownie or a cake! Or fudge?!Haha. Anyway it was very chocolatey. The cake melted right after it touches my tongue!!! Yummyyyyyyy!!! It was also not too sweet and there were nuts in it too.Chocolate lovers will go crazy for this!!!All I can say is, this cake is really worth trying!!!!The service was also great. Well to start it off, it was a rainy day, I decided to settle for a Hot Chocolate Marshmallow from The Coffee Bean & Ta Leaf. It was my first time ordering it, and I was overwhelmed with the taste of the drink. It was simply fulfilling and delightful to me as the marshmallows suited perfectly with the chocolate and it was really warm so it felt great in a cold environment.
