Saw this French table and first try for me. Ordered Hotate & Mentaiko paste and signatures duck leg pasta. Waiting time seen about 10mins or more. Decoration is quite norm and iced water served and topup by yourself at entrance. Mentaiko paste is served with few piece of scallops and topping with a half raw egg. The sauce is not that great. Duck leg is quite OK with the specialty sauce. The pasta is normal as well due to no aromatic favor from the bites. Overall is average. 繼續閱讀

Recently the restaurant has updated its menu. As the shopping mall was going a upgrading change and a number of restaurants had since closed to make way for the change, we were left with limited dining choices. We decided to dine in here, since the queue was not too long. Do remember to help yourself to the iced water at the entrance. The staffs would not take for you.Although the decoration of the place was same as before, colorful walls around with sofa around the side, but the lightings was much dimmer than before. Maybe more romantic this way. So if one want to take photos, better take one of the tables in the centre of dine in area. The menu was simple looking blooket.Rosti ($9.80++)Homemade Swiss shredded potato cake served with sunny side upThe rosti was soft and moist, but I would prefer it to come with crispy and slighty edge.Cassoulet ($28.80++)Traditional french casserole containing slow-cooked pork belly, duck confit, homemade sausage and beans. The dish was served in a mini claypot. It looked like a baked dish, filled with assorted meats and baked beans. The dish was very filling, so did not look down on its small size. It felt quite jelat after a few mouthfuls. Best share when ordering this dish. The sausage meat was good as it had different flavours in it and did not taste too salty. The duck leg was tender and soft too.The pork belly in the dish was fatty looking, but was moist and tender in texture.Chef's Signature TFT Finely Roasted Chicken ($26.80++/ whole)Served with choice of mushroom cream sauce/ wasabi mushroom cream sauce/ yuzu cream sauce & poached kai lanBut we were not asked for our choice of sauce when placing order. Instead we being served yuzu cream sauce which did not look like a cream base sauce to me. It looked more like a yuzu flavour thicken with corn starch sauce. The roasted chicken was not salty as it was previously. Tender but a bit dry in texture. Being stuffed with kai lan in the centre, looked a bit out of place.Shellfish Soup Pasta ($13.80++)Sauteed white clams, mussels and linguine in clam broth. With a single chilli sign by the menu, I thought that it would not be too spicy, yet Nana declared that it was too much for her. The dish was served in a mini claypot. The soup was tasty, but a bit sandy with bits of broken shells around. It was a bit troublesome having bits of dirts in the mouth in having this dish.Overall the food was much better than before as it was not salty as before. It was difficult to get the attention of the staffs. By the way we experienced blackout which lasted more than 10 minutes while eating, yet the staffs acted like nothing. 繼續閱讀
