FoodThe dinning experience is totally different. First we go to the cable car tower to take a right to mount faber and register ourselves at the Jewel Box Sky Dinning location. We were told that the dinner will take 3 rounds in the cable car to and fro from mount faber to sentosa station. Firstly we were asked if we want to go to the toilet first before the ride and dinner....We were welcome by this welcome drink. Fruit punch is cooling for such hot weather. This is starter dish with scallops and vinaigrette vegetables.It comes with a bowl of soup, the bowl of soup was tasty and totally buys my taste bud however, it will be better if my scallops are warmer.This is my main course, Foie gras and beef steak. I love the foie gras, it is not that hard and quite soft but not the best i have eaten. Love the small portion and presentation. Salmon and prawn. Anyway there is not much choice and only 2 main course given in the menu.The dessert consists of 2 identical cheese cakes with strawberry. Last but not least, you have the choice of coffee or tea with the biscuits by the saucer.ServiceStaff are very polite and professional. Every dish served, there will be one photographer who took photograph of the happy moment! AmbienceYou can have the whole cabin to yourselves unlike the flyer. It is another alternative. The ambiene and experience I would say is good. You have panaromic view of Pasir Panjang, telok blangah and sentosa. Especially when the blue hours are here where lightings are well lited, it actually brings up a good view of singapore. In the cabin, its quite humid and I cant imagine I'm sweating while dinning even though the windows panes are opened. Simply there is insufficient air flow. The management should improvise this kind of experience.PricePrice is rather steep. If this can make it more affordable and if the taste of food can be better, it will be good. It costs about $230 per couple excluding the photographs taken. Purchase of photographs are optional.Recommendations / TipsIt will be a good and romantic way for special occassions like proposal, birthdays etc to express your love and feelings to someone special.
