We had a wonderful outing with our four children! The kids enjoyed the food and the cozy ambience, while the staff provided exceptional service throughout. The manager went above and beyond, checking on each table, making sure everyone was comfortable, and chatting with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere. The team’s warmth made us feel completely at ease. The signature birthday song performance is such a fun TMC tradition—our children have loved it for years. Truly a place that makes you want to return!

The cod fish at this restaurant was the best dish, cooked perfectly. It had a little spice that added flavour without overwhelming the palate. The Putu Piring cake was also very tasty, with a nice balance of sweetness from the cake and richness from the peanut and coconut filling. Those who do not like sweet desserts might find it a bit too sweet, but I thought it was exquisite. Service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff making the dining experience very pleasant. Overall, I would definitely come back and dine here again.

I went to The Malayan Council at Marina Bay on a Saturday evening and honestly, the view alone is worth the visit. We started with the Cone Trios Rillette, smoked duck, crab, and salmon in little pastry cones, and I found myself sneaking bites before anyone else. The Ultimate Lobster was incredible, tender and juicy, with just the right seasoning. I wasn’t expecting much from the Beef Wellington, but it was perfectly cooked, flaky, and paired so well with the veggies. The staff were friendly and checked in just enough without hovering. It felt fancy but not stiff, definitely a spot I’d come back to for a special dinner.
