I take-away a slice of roasted duck pizza, it was nicely packed in a triangle box which cost $6.50 !At first glimpse of the shop front, it has the New York Style ambiance. I'm back at Manhattan Pizza Co. and this time to try their side dishes! The curry cheese wedges! Really worth the price for it's quantity and taste. Enough cheese was squeezed into the box of wedges to cover every wedge, however not enough curry sauce. Don't fret because they have a condiments section where there is free flow of chili/ketchup/curry ketchup/mustard! I was really full after having my (half) slice of pizza however still ate almost half a box of it because it's just so good! Get a box and share among 4-5 friends! Saw the buffalo wings the other time and didn't get it because wasn't that hungry. This time I ordered half a slice of pizza so I could half my buffalo wings! Was not satisfied by it because I thought it was going to be spicy, but the spice was SOOOOO mild that i had to add my own chilli sauce and curry ketchup. The meat was really dry and overcooked too. Wouldn't recommend this unless you like dry meat and don't take spice but wanna show off and say you ate buffalo wings before,haha! Second time visiting Manhattan Pizza Co and as with our first visit, we were pleased with our pizza choice. I ordered a Meat Lover ($6.20/slice) which was topped with generous servings of pepperoni, ground beef, diced chicken, ham slices and parmesan cheese! The ingredients were fresh and blended well with the crusty base. Personally, I preferred the overall taste of Regina (my pizza choice during our first visit) but found Meat Lover rather satisfying.The dinner crowd was significantly lesser than lunch crowd and is definitely a great hang out place to simply chill and chat! Today my friend bought me a slice of this Pepperoni pizza for me to try. THe slice was really big and quite filling. Really like the thinnly sliced crust that is quite crunchy and totally not oily. Love those generous amount of melted cheese topped on it which is very fragrant and also make the pizza fillings more moist and easy to swallow. Went to The Manhattan Pizza Co. for dinner with my friends last night and got the Specialty Combo set which included one huge size of pizza and a drink. The pizza serving is really huge here and will definitely be filling for one. Free flow of parmesan cheese and chili flakes! Crust was just right, not too thick or not too thin and the serving of chicken on the pizza was generous enough. Only mildly spicy so I had to add lots of chilli flakes for myself because I personally take a lot of spice, otherwise my other friend who also ordered this flavour found it rather savoury on its own. Also available in a huge whole pizza set where you can pick two flavours and share with a group of friends! Was enticed by a $5 deal from bigdeal.com which included 1 Pizza + 1 Drink + 1 Salad / Chicken Wing and decided to purchase it for a farewell meal to celebrate one of our colleague’s last day with us.We found the pizza selection pretty decent – Margherita, Pepperoni, Hawaiian and Regina. What really surprised us was the size of the pizza slices – boy were they were huge for just $5!Tucked away at a rather quiet corner at the basement of Orchard Central, we found the setting of the place very casual, akin to a fast food outlet minus the hustle and bustle. The service staff were friendly and processed our orders – two sets of Regina, one set of Hawaiian, and one set of Pepperoni (all with salad and ice lemon tea) fairly quickly. Good news to OpenRicers with the Perx apps, you get to redeem a free vanilla ice cream cone with just 3 chops (which we did for dessert ^^).Time to tuck it in! I’m glad I made the right choice ^^ Regina was fluffy and soft on the inside with tomato, mozzarella, mushrooms and ham blended in perfect harmony. You could literally feel the warm cheese oozing out with every bite – the way pizzas should be! The crust was thick and chewy, no surprises inside but I thought it would taste better if it was slightly “crustier” with more crisp. The generous toppings of mushrooms and ham were definitely a plus! A must try here, surprisingly, was their curry ketchup. Although it tasted neither like curry nor ketchup (more like a special blend of BBQ & sweet sauce), it went perfect with the pizza and brought out an extra zest to every bite. This is one truly versatile sauce as it blended well with the salad too (I decided to use this sauce instead of the Italian dressing that came with the salad as I found that a tad too oily for my liking). Thanks to Facebook and The Manhattan Pizza Co. I won a 20" pizza from them and I was more than excited and happy about it!Last Saturday, we decided to go there for lunch and redeem our Pizza. We arrived there at 1.00 and I went to the counter to place my order. I had a choice of 4 pizza options and I selected the Hawaiian Pizza. After placing my order I headed over to our table and we waited for our pizza to arrive. While we were waiting, I looked around the restaurant and I really loved the nice and cozy ambiance it had and what's more cool is that they have a free WiFi connection and I started to check my facebook and mails Our pizza arrived shortly and the kids got really very excited looking at the huge 20" pizza!! They just couldn't wait to start eating it! I quickly took a few pictures and then sat to enjoy the pizza myself.The pizza is huge and has loads of pineapples, ham and lots of stretchy chewy cheese. Not too many frills but just good enough The pizza was nicely sliced and baked to perfection and yes it is irresistible one you've had a bite of it, and then you even forget to talk all you can think of is eat eat eat. As i was walking around the basement of Orchard Central, I came across this newly opened pizza place and it seemed like a pizza joint that is in new york city so i decided to give it a try. They have quite a few different pizzas to choose from and i decided to go for the spicy chicken one as it was one of the recommended pizza actually. Took the set meal and had to top up extra for the drink to be changed to ice milo. Overall my set meal costs around $7.50. The pizza was great as i could taste the huge chunks of chicken in it but i wish that it was piping hot instead as it would be even more delicious i believe.
