The restaurant had recently opened in the middle of a row of shophouses. The place looked small for the first floor with 4 tables of 4, a table of 2, bar counter which could sit 5 pax, and the window counter which could sit 4 pax. The place was decorated in a old school European style.Aglio Olio ($18.90+)with prawnsThe serving looked great with 4 big juicy prawns on top of the angel hair pasta. The pasta tasted not bad, while garlicky, there was no pool of oil left over. The prawns was garlicky too. Not bad except that they were not de-vein. Worse one of the prawns looked quite raw. As it was not sashimi, I decided that it would be best to leave the raw prawn aside. One of the staff happened to see it and I decided to tell her about it. Although I was already half way through the dish, she decided to replace a new dish for me, which I felt bad.The Palmary Spiked Ondeh Shot ($4.90+)The classic Ondeh, spiked our wayIt was served with the gula melaka syrup by the side. One could feel the shiok of the alcohol down while the filling burst out in the mouth. However one could not help feeling that the skin of the ondeh ondeh was a tab too thick.Kampong Colada ($18+)A Pina Colada with richer, bolder, local flavoursDark & Coconut Rum, Coconut Cream, Palm Syrup, Fresh Pineapple & Lime JuiceThe drink was quite rich and creamy.
