While waiting for my girlfriend to do her hair, I was walking around novena square 2 looking for some snacks to eat to kill time. I walked pass a branch of royals cake and I settled for just that. I ordered their American carrot cake. The lady was very nice to place my one slice into their plastic box. She even gave me a fork. I like their American carrot cake. I like to eat carrot cake. Not chinese style but western style.This carrot cakes are rather small in portion so i will usually buy 2 pieces. It cost me about $1.10 each. The walnut on top are crunchy. The cream is not very thick for top and middle layer. Not the greasy type so can consider a healthy dessert that suitable for everyone. Not too sweet or dry..

This is brownie cakes from the royals.The cake that they sell are cheap but not low quality. This brownie is small but so much cheaper compare to other shops. This small portion is very suitable for kids to eat. The brownies is not dry, but moisture. You can order a cup of coffee and enjoy your tea time with this. You can also try other cakes which also cheap but nice.

These cream cakes from The Royals are simply sinful and delicious! The shop is halal certified so our Malay friends are also able to enjoy these great cakes! They also have 'Do It Yourself' whole cake which you may like to decorate the plain cream cake with the coloured creams provided by them. (Similar concept like the Icing Romm from Breadtalk). Other than cakes, they also sells varieties of breads and chicken pies as well. My verdict: 7/10

My mum was craving for cakes the other day and we all had a headache as to where should we buy yummy cakes for her.
