I always had Velvety Mushroom Stroganoff with Chicken musroom wrap. Just had a mushroom craving on that day. The whole bowl of soup is mushroom based( as suggested by its name), very thick and very filling. It is velvety indeed, very smooth to the throat but too creamy for my liking, such that it is hard to finish a bowl by myself. So it would be best to share the soup with a friend. Ordered their SouperValue Combo Meal for $11.10 which comes with the soup of our choices - Meatless Minestrone with Gemolata and a Salad - Thai Chicken Vermicelli.Their Minestrone soup comes with a bread for us to dip into. I am huge huge huge fan of the Tangy Tomato with Basil soup!!! Am always craving for soup spoon whenever I feel fat or that I just need some comfort food. Always have to pay a few more cents to have an extra bun to go with the soup but it’s totally worth it.Their bread is really tasty! Dip it, slurp it, eat it! This outlet is always full most of the time,it is very difficult to get seats unless you dont mind waiting.My favourite is the clam clowder soup,it comes with a complementary bread which is nice and buttery and not too hard.I like to dip it into the soup.The portion of the soup is big and there is generous chunks of chicken,carrots and potatos, not tiny shreads, which is a joy to chew and eat.The consistency of the soup is thick but very "drinkable".It is a joy to slurp up the soup with chunky chicken meat and potatoes.The clam are small pieces, but portion is alot.So you get quite a mouthful of chewing to be done with every slurp of the soup you take.The cleaners are quick to clear tables but perhaps they might want to improve on their customer service as the cashiers dont serve you with a smile.…查看更多

Mushroom, Barley, Spinach and Tarragon soup under chef special category. The worst soup i've ever tasted!!! Ever since the first time I tried my first Boston Chowder at the Soup Spoon, I would dine there for at least twice a month. My favourites include Velvety Mushroom Stroganoff (a mushroom soup for all mushroom lovers like me) and Simon and Garfunkel Chicken and Mushroom Ragout (which I like it, very surprisingly because I don't usually like soups with a red base)This rich, creamy stew is filled with marinated chunks of chicken cooked together with the infamous foursome herbs and 6 types of mushroom including the woodsy Portobello, smooth Oyster and Abalone Mushroom, the Oriental Enoki and Shitake, and the ever popular Button Mushroom (a description taken from the Soup Spoon's website)The wrap that I love most is the smoked salmon but chicken mushroom is also not bad.
