This bowl of caesar salad is simply awesome. There's romaine lettuce, homemade croutons, parmesan cheese, eggs and some toppings on top. My friens ordered the mushroom soup which came with a piece of bread. The soup was thick and filled with yummy bits ofmushroom. It went well with the bread and my friend decided to add on another piece for 50 cents. (I forgot if it was 50 or 70 cents.) As for me, I ordered the minestrone soup with the pastry on top. It came with the salad and sauce. It was my mistake for pouring all the sauce over and ended up the salad being too sour to be eaten. Anyway, I ate as much as I could. I loved the sour and sweet cranberries that were with the salad. The pastry was very fluffy and expanded looking. I felt like I was biting into the void and leaving a pile of debris (pastry crumbs) behind. As this was my second time eating this, I learnt from my previous mistake. I did not soak the entire pastry into the soup like that previous time I did. I broke it bit by bit and dipped them into the soup. Looking for really delicious western soup and got a recommendation from my friend to try their mushroom soup from this outlet. Glad that I have listened to her as the taste is simply delicious and make me want to crave for more. The texture of it is very thick and creamy and is filled with lots of minced mushrooms in it. the sandwich add on from the soup spoon, this is the mushroom & chicken sandwich which i ordered when i chose the set meal for the soup. the sandwich is so so only, the bread is hard and not fragrant, the ingredient inside is mostly vegetable, i could hardly get the chance to bite the chicken or mushroom. anyway the vegetable is refreshing and crunchy but i will not order again because i was so full after having the bread and complimentary bread.…查看更多

For a healthy meal, I will usually go for a soup at Soup Spoon. Their soups are very wholesome with lots of ingredients used to make the soup which gives the soup the rich flavour. There will be a small bun to accompany each bowl of soup. I ordered the mushroom soup (Velvety Mushroom Stroganoff) which costs $7.30 for the regular bowl. The mushroom soup is really good. It is very creamy and it is very chunky with lots of mushrooms within the soup. I love the biting into the juicy mushrooms bits as I drink the soup on its own or as I dip the bread into the soup. I have recently began to appreciate wholesome soups and Soup Spoon is one of my favourite places to go to for soups since it is quite convenient to get to their outlets. Each soup will come with a small bun and I got another bun for dipping my soup with since I only ordered the soup. The mushroom soup, or Velvety Mushroom Stroganoff, is one of the best mushroom soups that I have ever had. Unlike those watered down versions, this is full of mushrooms and the soup has depth in terms of its taste with so many different mushrooms used in the making of this soup. I have always wanted to dine at 'The Soup Spoon', but I use to always get put off,because it's always crowded. This time, I was at Orchard Ion at around 2:30 PM & was super hungry, the place was crowded,but I saw a few seats available,so I decided to place my order. They offer a good range of soups in their regular menu. I opted for the 'Souper value meal',which consisted of a soup of my choice, 1/2 a wrap/sandwich & an Ice lemon tea/apple. So I decided on Clam Chowder soup & Chicken, mushroom wrap & Iced Lemon tea. What I like about their soups is that it's heartening, chock-full of ingredients and overall pretty healthy. Even their regular size bowl would probably satisfy big eaters, while those with small appetites might want to share. I enjoyed the Clam chowder, It was super delicious & was a bowl full of a creamy soup with clams & vegetables. The wrap was just al right,a bit bland. The iced lemon tea was great, it had a home made feel to it & made me feel refreshed after a tiring day.I must admit that the staff was efficient, polite & know the true meaning of hospitality. My wrap arrived within 5 minutes, with a smile. Tables were cleared promptly after a customer left, and they also seemed quite enthusiastic to clear your tray the minute you sit down at the table. I've even received compliements one would normally expect to hear at fine-dining restaurants, like "Excellent Choice, Madam!". Though the menu is a little over priced, I thoroughly enjoyed my soup & wrap at 'The Soup Spoon' & had a hearty healthy meal. During my visit to The Soup Spoon the other day, I tried out the Simon and Garfunkel Chicken and Mushroom Ragout Set, where I get a soup and a serving of salad for $12.40. Quite a bargain for a balanced diet. The tasty creamy soup is fulled of ingredient chunks, including marinated chicken cubes, heaps of mushrooms, and lots of herbs. Very rich in flavour, and so comforting! For the salad, I pay an extra $1 to choose the premium Roasted Pumpkin salad. The roasted pumpkin chunks are so sweet! Nice! I love dining in at soup spoon because their soups are tasty and very nourishing. In addition, they also provide the calories count for each of their soups, so this definitely helps for those who are conscious of their calories intake. I ordered their mushroom soup, the large serving since I am sharing the soup with my friend. The normal serving consist of 252kcal. The soup comes with a little bun for you to dip in your soup. The mushroom soup here is thick and creamy. The only problem is that one entire bowl of it seems to end up a little too much due to the creaminess. The bread is quite good too, soft and warm when eaten immediately. I think the best thing to do at Soup Spoon is to share with a friend and thus try out a variety of soups from the menu. tried this soup some time ago but i could not remember the name, it was something like prawn bistro. the soup really has a very strong prawn taste and the texture was some what like chowder. the staff was also nice to suggest addition of sour cream which also bring out the flavour of the soup. however, the taste tend to be a little to strong so it kind of get saltier when u drank more but nonetheless, i think this soup was not too bad…查看更多
