First time dining alone at Soup Spoon. The restaurant serve wide variety of soups ,sandwiches , main courses etc. The environment of the restaurant is spacious, cosy. Ordered the mushroom soup which came with a piece of bread and the smoked salmon sandwich. The soup was thick , creamy and while you eat there is a tiny bit of mushroom. The smoked salmon sandwich , the bread texture is too thick , but the smoked salmon taste tender and well marinated.

The clam chowder soup contains chunky clams mixed with celery greens and potatoes. The potatoes were soft and the clams were chewy. The braised chicken soup with wolf-berries is one of the chef's specialty soups and it kind of taste like an Indian curry soup! We top up one soup for the souper value combo and shared the side and drink. We tried the Chilled Vietnamese Summer Rice Roll. I ordered the Peace, Love and Muscles Chowder ($8.50) which was their chef's special! I upgrade it to a set that comes with a drink and a sandwich for an additional $4.90. I had ice lemon tea and ham&cheese sandwich! The soup already comes with a bread of its own, plus the soup was really thick and full of mussels. My friend tried it and he didn't like it. I supposed if you don't eat much vegetables on a regular basis, you won't like this soup because it has spinach taste in it and the soup is

These potato wedges from The Soup Spoon are very crunchy and smell really good! Not just their different types of soups taste delicious, I also begin to like their different types of crispy side dishes as well. The potato wedges are very thick in texture and are also quite compact too. It is crispy outside and smooth texture on the inside. The cheese sauce is thick and creamy and really suit well with the potato wedges. Would be better if they are able to reduce the price of it.

I love this~ The soup and bread may seems so simple BUT the soup here is different. The taste is very rich. Furthermore, the bread is quite soft and crispy. When you dipped the bread with the soup, the bread can fully absorbed the soup and makes the bread more flavourful. The bread will not be soggy when dipped. It still taste crispy with the bread dipped in the soup. Go try it out. Its an all new taste~

the first thing that attract me to this soup spoon outlet is the nice furnishing. this outlet has very different style compared to the other outlets in which it has somewhat like a garden theme to it. so it gives me somewhat a romantic touch. of cause the soups are nice but i felt the new chef special = Black Bean Chilli with Beef Stew is not that nice.
