Located in Novena along a stretch of food places, its signboard is brightly lit and difficult to miss. It's definitely cheaper to go there for lunch than dinner; if I'm not wrong, they have affordable set lunches. I went there for dinner and tried their escargot, sauce was good and one can easily finish all 6 at one go. As for the salmon, it was pan seared till golden brown and meat was tender.

For 15 years... the vines seafood and steak restaurant has been serving the public well at novena ville. On the 6th of January 2013, they have closed their doors and is now operating at their other outlet at cantonment..Thank You! When i dined there last year and a few times before... i would say that their service is top notch fantastic. Their servings... awesome and their ambience is fantastic. One of the best settings i have ever experienced in my life.For starters, be prepared to ordered what you really want to eat as i was spoilt for choice.Appetizer: I ordered cheese friesResult: So-so because it was a little sweet.. for me i cannot mix sweet mayo or anything with fries. Even for mcdonalds fries, i do not eat with the chili sauce or tomato ketchup! Its so natural! It was served on a warm casserole dish so it was just ok to me.Entree: I usually have the ribeye steak with the baked potato with a sambal sauce... Now if you are thinking sambal sauce... think again... sambal sauce is nice and a little sweet. When it comes with meat.. im more or less ok with a little sweetness but i wanna taste the meat. Result: I ordered medium for the beef as i wanted it to be a little juicy and also a little bit bloody...It was perfect for me... Im super particular for the beef... If memory serves me right.. it was about $23 for the ribeye..Other options include surf and turf such as chicken, lobster, giant prawns mix and match combos...Dessert: Green Tea Cake!Verdict: nice but not my taste...The service is fantastic... there is this particular gentlemen... i am pretty sure he is the boss or manager or something like that... He treats his customers right and engages in conversations with the customers. There was once he even sang happy birthday alone to someones birthday. If there is someone i respect for customer service... It is this guy! Honestly! No other guy i have seen can match his charisma!I would want to visit the outlet in cantonment to see how it is like..

I went with my friends to Novena after TGIF to source for good food However most places are quite packed and my friend suggested The Vines Restaurant as she ever went once and commented on their delicious ribs!!!! Being a food gourmet (as we self claimed ), how can the rest of us miss the chance to try that out!The service's quite good and fast, ambiance of the place is super lovely!I love the decor of the place too, warm and cozy feeling The salad's quite good, very fresh and refreshing.However i find the fries serving is quite little, but it's ok.The ribs itself is wow though it looks small but very meaty with super tasty BBQ sauce.Definitely worth the money to go there have a try

Homely!!!So it was a friday night and we were hungry, yes we were! A number of places crossed our minds but we decided to go to The Vine, across from Novena Church.We got there and it was heaving with people, yet there was still a spot for us! The manager welcomed us in and ushered us to our seats. I ordered a medium well done steak and my dad a lamb cutlet. We entered into lively conversation and before long the meal had been served. The Booms factor was the Great Tasting Steak and the massive pork cutlet!!!!!!!! OMG!Arroy Mak Mak! <<< which means simply delicious (in my failed Thai attempt).What can i really say except, i will defo go there again!

The Vines Seafood and steak restaurant is my favorite western restaurant. i love the ambient and the great service here.You can find all sort of quality western foods over there.It is a very nice place to hang out with friends to chill or gathering. Normally if i go with my BBF, we will order for a bottle of red wine because generally i think it is still the best to eat steak with red wine. The grilled chicken and beef are well cooked, the BBQ sauce that comes with the set tastes great with the chicken and beef.The side dishes are baked potatoes and seasonal vegetables and i like it too.Its really a great moment with my boyfriend, friends and family whenever i brought them to The Vines Seafood & Steak Restaurant , it never failed to impress me with their dishes. A set meal included soup of the day, main course, tea or coffee and dessert of the days. The price is pretty reasonable too.
