If you are looking for a nice place to bring a date this weekend, Check out Wine Company along Sentosa Boardwalk. Having been staying near Harbourfront, I would say there are 2 places which never fail me in terms of atmosphere--Sentosa Boardwalk and Keppel Bay. Trust me--waterfront, al fresco dining, not too crowded and great food makes these 2 places a must for any guy who wants to impress. There are only 2 F & B outlets on Sentosa Boardwalk--Wine Company and and the former wins hands down. Food is so much better at Wine company though drinks might be slightly pricier than its neighbour. The roast pork was a yummy starter, even for me who isnt really a pork-lover. The skin was thin and crispy with just the right amount of salt. My friend was craving Char kway teow and although portion was a little on the smaller side was nonetheless satisfied. The Burger was a individually packed beef patty served with lettuce, onion, cheese & truffle fries-- though we couldnt really taste much of a truffle in in and patty runs a bit dry.And for salad loving me.. this was the worst dish of the night. Small, lacking in taste and unsatisfying. Oh well. Then again, given the atmosphere, its the perfect place for drinks and they've got a lot of funky finger good I would try--like ngoh hiang and fried yong tau foo. Hows that with wine huh?for more yummy reviews pls go to kopidiem.wordpress.com 繼續閱讀

The wine company is a good place to chill out with friends, and they have a wide selection of affordable wines to choose from! Not to mention that their ideal location at the sentosa boardwalk, making it a romantic place to go on a weekend evening too. Chicken pesto cream penne ($13.80++) was my mains for the night. The pasta was cooked just right, a tad hard and chewy, suitable for penne. Pine nuts goes well with the taste of pesto, and the cream enhanced the flavor of the pasta even more! Love this dish. Chocolate molten lava cake ($13.80++) cost the same as my mains, and i had a hard time debating if i should get it. Greed took over me, but i didnt regret. Look at how the chocolate flows! Indeed molten and its dark chocolate, making it even better tasting with the ice cream. Nice ending to a chill out night with some sweet satisfying dessert. 繼續閱讀
