怡豐城（Vivo City）是我們由聖陶沙出來的必經中轉站，這裡有個大食代Food Repbulic，正正讓我們有一個便利吃午餐的好地方。這個大食代同樣地方大，設計用上了懷舊的新加坡風情，希望令人感到恍如置身於20世紀初的新加坡。場內大概有10多個攤檔，賣的都是地道星馬美食。看到一客家的「擂茶」檔子，未試過就好奇一試。店家有不少選擇，如擂茶飯、擂茶糙米米粉、韭菜冬粉……和一些小食。擂茶飯套餐，大碗內裝有米飯、花生、豆角粒、菜粒、魚乾仔……等材料，細碗就裝有擂茶，兩者拼在一起就可以吃。擂茶是客家人招待貴賓時的一種茶點，「擂」有研磨之意，以綠茶，加上研磨後的芝麻、花生，就成為擂茶。雖然有益健康，但自覺味道麻麻。既為套餐，還有一碟客家豆腐和九層塔煎蛋，前者一大磚三角形炸豆腐，幾香脆，不過豆腐不算嫩滑；而後者就有趣多一點，普通煎蛋餅，但下了大量九層塔香料，味道多份個性。家鄉雞肉餅外貌有啲似炸豆皮卷，大大條，一客分成為10件，外層炸得鬆脆，內裡填滿免治雞肉，份量頗多，味道唔錯！

Thunder tea rice is a healthy food. It consists of lots of vegetables, including greens, long beans, tofu, some peanuts.. and of course rice. You will be given a bowl of soup that made of blended herbs, tea leaves, sesame, ginger .. etc. The soup is the main call for thunder tea rice, and this stall at food republic vivo city has done it so well. The fragrant of the herbs and sesame is so aromatic. If you ask nicely, the staff might give you a bigger bowl of soup without additional cost

I ordered takeaway Thunder Tea Rice from Food Republic. The rice tasted really good with the different vegetables combination. It is a healthy choice of meal as it feels light on the stomach when less rice is consumed. The vegetables are fresh and the rice is fragrant which enhances my appetite for just $5.

I have ordered a Thunder tea rice from food republic at Vivo city. Thunder tea rice is a Hakka cuisine that have various kind of pan-fried veggies, beancurd cubes, peanuts and anchovies. It contains good sources of protein and calcium, therefore it is very suitable for those who having vegan diet. I like to eat the dishes with rice and a little bit of its complementary soup. it is relatively nutritious and delicious.

For $4.50 you can have a basic set of rice with ikan bilis, chopped tofu, dried onions and mixed shredded vegetables that comes with a complimentary green tea soup.I understand this is a Hakka cuisine and the Hakka prefer to eat it together with the green tea soup poured over the rice. I ordered the Thunder Tea Rice (white rice) at the Food Republic at Vivo. It costs $4 per bowl, $0.50 cheaper than brown rice. I like the vegetables as it is healthy and has a great taste to it. The rice is soft and fragrant too. I like the bowl of vegetable soup, taste like green tea soup as there are various vegetables in it. The aunty who served me was friendly and polite and such service goes a long way in making customers happy. Healthy choice of meal.
