Just bought this yummy snack from this tip top outlet at Plaza singapura.  The stall is very clean and neat , and love the bright white layout of this stall.  The counter lady is very friendly and helpful as well. I have bought a stick of this fish cake with vegetable at $1.60, which is consider qyite affordable and the size of this fishcake is quite big as well.  The texture is chewy and you can taste the fresh mixed vegetables in it which is flavourful and tasty.  It is not too oily and having

I have bought a stick of this fish cake with vegetable at $1.60, which is consider qyite affordable and the size of this fishcake is quite big as well.  The texture is chewy and you can taste the fresh mixed vegetables in it which is flavourful and tasty.  It is not too oily and having this stick is good enough to satisfy me. 

Would definitely recommend this snack to my friends as I believe most of them never try before other than their signature curry puffs.

Tip Top Puff Factory is located on the basement of Plaza Singapura shopping mall. I can smell the fragrance of the curry puffs as I walk past the shop. There are a few seats by the counter but it functions more like a takeaway shop. I decided to get one curry puff and sat inside for a quick bite before I head to my destination. The crust of the puff is crunchy and the fillings contain generous portions of chicken chunks, egg and potatoes! A very satisfying snack!

Was having my window shopping with my aunty and pass by this snack shop. The shop looks simple, neat and clean. I have bought their famous curry puff, which with no doubt really taste good! The curry puff's crust is crunchy and not too oily. THe inner filling is very tasty, especially the curry paste is thick and spicy. The chicken meat inside is also very juicy and not tough. Less than two dollars per piece, is definitely a great snack with a good bargain. The staff here is also friendly

TIP TOP PUFF is located at plaza singapura basement 2. It's pretty hidden in a corner, so you really have to find it, just like digging treasure in the sea haha. I was introduced to their puff by my friend. The first time I had was curry puff, and it was good! This time I went back, most of the puffs are out of stock!!  Which is why I had to make do with the yam puff, but I don't regret getting it!
I like yam myself. But despite this, i really thought the yam puff was equally good as the curry puff!! Next time, I will get BOTH!

The puffs are very authentic and the crust melts in your mouth when you bite it. The edge are not hard too. Very nice puff!!

Some time last month I stopped by Plaza Singapura for some grocery shopping & was a bit hungry so decided to pick up a snack, just when I spotted Tip Top The Puff Factory since I love curry puffs, so I picked up a chicken curry puff. This is another good choice for curry puff if you are a fan like myself. I used to live in An g Mo Kio and got my first of their curry puffs from there but stopped eating since i moved away a couple of years ago. It is a good news to know that they have another outlet in town and it made their puffs readily available without travelling towards north to eat it. I liked it when its pipping hot and if it turns cold, everything will taste horrible.Therefore if want to eat then go and eat them. It is because the crust will be crunchy and there's the chicken, curry potato, eggs inside! The filling is full and it taste nice. Though it is abit oily but it's okay indulge once in a while! Anyway it costs $1+

walked past the infamous curry puff brand and had to try it. had it a while a go but wanted to try again. it wasn't too bad. it handled the takeaway very very well. the pastry did not flake or crumble - did not make any mess. very firm pastry. the filling was very very good. it's as if grandma made this curry puff! very traditional. love that they have egg in it. and the spices are fantastic. not sure why the pastry looks so dark - darker than other brands of curry puffs. but overall, it was gre

This particular outlets offers other variety as compared to the AMK outlet. They have homemade drinks and other small deep fried snacks. But the main selling point is still their curry puffs.The curry puffs here are not as nice as the main branch. I always patronize the ang mo kio outlet ans the curry puffs there was super nice. OOn a comparison, the pastry skin here isn't as flaky and it tends to be harder. hmm... maybe it's due to the temperature of the oil being fried in.

 On a comparison, the pastry skin here isn't as flaky and it tends to be harder. hmm... maybe it's due to the temperature of the oil being fried in.

Crispy crust and soft fillings. Well seasoned potato, not too spicy and not too much msg. What a great snack to lighten up a mundane afternoon. It is one of the top curry puff i’ve eaten so far. $1.30 for a curry puff may be a little pricey but it’s worth a try!

There had been so much hype about Tip Top's curry puff on the internet, many claiming that it surpasses the well established OCK's, that I had to try it for myself. Biting in, I was rewarded with large, chunky pieces of chicken and a quarter of an egg. While i liked that it was not so spicy, the filling and the pastry very much lacked the aroma of OCK's. And because a good pastry makes all the difference, my allegience remains with the latter.

My hubby saw this shop selling curry puffs and he was tempted to buy. He bought two, one for himself and one for me. After he had made payment, I saw that the stall was having a promotion, buy two get one free if you present the Swensen's card. Hey, I have it. But the seller told me that he couldn't reverse the transaction. What a waste, else we could have an extra one. Anyway, my hubby told me that it was $1 each, pretty cheap.It was not very spicy.  It was not very spicy. I could taste chunks of chicken meat, which was missing in the Old Cheng Kee's curry puff. Not too bad.

I remembered to have heard positive comments about this curry puff the last time, so when I walked passed this shop, I decided to try it out.The price was considered reasonable.(:The outer of the curry puff is crispy and the filling is generousHowever, normally curry puff would be spicy, but tip top’s curry puff is not spicy. However, normally curry puff would be spicy, but tip top’s curry puff is not spicy. Instead, I think that the filling in the puffs are a bit too salty.
Considering the cost of the curry puff, I think for those who does not really like spiciness, it will be worth the buy.(:

I was shopping around there & saw this shopThere's newspaper article of their curry puff so i bought 1 to try There's only 1 kind of curry puff 1 for $1.30 The curry puff side layer is very crispy & nice butter smell But inside there's a very strong smell which i don't like There's chicken,egg inside,it just taste so so i personal find that old chang kee one taste nicer Overall i rate 5/10

The new branch of the famous curry puff at Ang Mo Kio central. It has been a love-hate relationship towards this curry puff. I started eating it since a kid and it was still selling at 0.60 cents then and not eating it as often after the price hike. They raised it to $1.30 after they got their halal certificate and have their image revamped. It has got more potato and less chicken chunks these days but the crust is still flaky and nice with a comfortable level of spiciness. It is an ideal snack, something light and leaving enough room in your stomach for lunch or dinner.
