I know that I can get even a cheaper beehoon at canteen but that is provided I'm having it during breakfast time. Sometimes really do have the urge to just have a simple economical beehoon for lunch so at Toast @ Work, this choice is available, I think throughout the day so decided to give it a try.There are 2 sets to choose from if you are having their beehoon. My choice is Set A which consists of beehoon, egg, hotdog and mid-wing at $2.50 (staff/student price). I ordered a milk tea in additional at $1.00.The beehoon is nice with a sweetness which I guess is the black sauce that they used in cooking. It is not very oily but we can't condemn oiliness totally because we do need some but not too much. You can judge from the plate after you finish. It is served warm still, luckily but not the sides. Not totally cold so still bearable. The mid-wing is not very crispy which I can understand after it has been put out there since morning, I guess. And nothing to rave about for the hotdog and egg. I usually have milk tea and seldom on coffee. Their milk tea is good but a little sweet. It will be good if we can put the amount of sugar ourselves rather than they do it for us. Overall I will still come again when I have that craving for beehoon during lunch.
