Tori Q

Well-known of Japanese-style fast food, Tori Q was my choice when I was in hurry always. Concept was very simple, just rice accompanied a stick of stewed meat. Food prepared freshly on the spot, premium quality of ingredients used. Service was prompt and efficient, turnover was fast. Steamed rice was fluffy with pretty fragrant, smell of Barbeque was irresistible. Few pieces pickles and drizzle of seaweeds were given along, they balanced over entirely. Fatty amount was in correct ratio, Pork and Chicken were fairly tender. Taste was flavourful with slightly burnt, Teriyaki sauce was tangy poured on top of rice. There's always something special about Japanese yakitori that makes me happy. So I'm glad that there's a Tori-Q place around almost every corner. Ordered their Bento Set A ($5.80) which comes with 2 chicken, 1 pork and 1 chicken ball stick. This branch at Bugis is always long queue and sometime the queue can be all the way to the atm machines beside the shop. I ordered the bento b, which comes with 2 sticks of chicken, 1 chicken with capsicum and 1 chicken meat ball. I like their chicken stick as the meat is very nicely marinated by machine and hand grilled by the people. I used to not like the chicken meatball but now I love it for the taste and texture. The rice however is on the dry side and not sticky enough. They should provide more sauce for the rice and not charged by per bottle. …查看更多

This is my cousin and my favourite! A good range of skewered food to choose from, grilled till its best. Their chicken sticks are so nice when it is dipped into the sauce, making the chicken tender and juicy yet having the aroma of BBQ...Everything taste excellent especially the chicken skin (taste heavenly)!! Tori q has super good food. I always get a rice set which comes with a few sticks of yakitori, some Japanese rice and sauce , and some pickles. My favorite yakitori stick is the chicken ball one which is so tender and flavorful! The rice is perfectly seasoned too and with the delicious sauce the whole meal comes together really nicely.
