Tori Q

I love Yakitori and Tori Q’s where I go to have them. There’s chicken, pork with asparagus, unagi, chicken balls…ad all marinated and grilled to perfection! Their Bento sets are pretty worth it and consists of a few sticks (at least 4) of Yakitori, rice which is drizzled with a delicious soy sauce and some pickles. There was a long queue and I had to join their queue as the display of making of their food attracted me there (once again). Worth queuing as it did not took very long and it is served hot. My usual is the chicken meatball and the pork with asparagus. Today I will try this item that is new to me which is the otoro pork in cubes and costs at $1.40. There is always a queue at Taka’s tori-q outlet but I am craving for its chicken balls, so I decided to join in the queue. There are many other different skewers like pork, chicken wing and even chicken skin, but I usually get the chicken balls, as I like the chicken balls for its texture and flavour. Great in taste! worth the queuing and worth the price. Well marinated. An all time favourite for both kids and adults. Goes well with rice or just on its own. Each stick is for $1.40. A little pricey but i am still willingly paying for it as i enjoy this little snack. The black pepper was a little overwhelmed other than that, it was quite good. And 1 stick is never enough; i will need at least 2 sticks to satisfy my greediness. This is one of those snacks to go in between meals. I love to order this 2 items whenever there is a Tori Q in the mall. The queue is always long at the Takashimaya branch. But the services are really fast , so I do not have to wait for too long before it was my turn. I like the chicken on the stick as some part of it have the ' charred' taste and yet the meat is tender and juciy. Same goes for the chicken balls , the meat were well marinated and juicy.
