I was impressed with VeganBurg as the crew is able to make a meatless burger to taste exactly like one! In order to cater to different taste buds of their customers, they came out with many different and interesting flavors such as smokey bbq, satay, creamy shrooms, hawaiian teriyaki and etc. I would recommend their satay and creamy shrooms with you are not a fan of vegetarian stuff. I was impressed with VeganBurg as the crew is able to make a meatless burger to taste exactly like one! It is so good that you dont even know u are chewing on something thats meatless.

Other than the burgers, their crispy potato and spinach pops and vegan franks (their bestsellers) taste just as nice as the burgers too.

Interior of the shop is cool too, with a motorbike in the middle of the shop. I like the comfort-ness in the shop too. Somewhere to slack and have your meal at the same time.

disappointing burger

I had been wanting to eat from VeganBurg sagain ince my vegetarian friend bought me to try it 2 years ago at its Enuos outlet. My first burger was great and i love the feeling of eating healthy even though i was having a burger (fast food).However, this time round i was rather disappointed. I had the Cracked Pepper Mayo which according to their menu, is one of their bestseller. The burger bun was hard and dry in the middle part. However, this time round i was rather disappointed. I had the Cracked Pepper Mayo which according to their menu, is one of their bestseller. The burger bun was hard and dry in the middle part. The crumbed patty was crispy on the outside, but the soy patty within lost their moistness. Luckily, the vegetable was fresh. It will be some time before i find back the confident to visit them again.

The worlds toughest vegan..

Do you want to go one on one with the big red machine or the the worlds toughest vegan?Well... its not a bad thing... its a good thing... having a veggie patty burger is quite strange.. it doesn't taste vegetably or anything... its quite fresh and stuff... its just so indescribable... i quite liked it and you speaking about a guy who doesnt eat much vegetables...Fries were good and some potato thing which was quite DAMN! melts in your mouth...Service was good and the people were actually quite f

Yummy burger

This 'vegetarian' burger fast food restaurant has been my favourite since it has opened. My colleagues will normally accompany me here during lunch hours almost twice a month to taste my favourite burger. The burger bun is very soft and full of the whole meal wheat goodness on it. The vegetable patty is very fragrant and soft in the inner part too. The side dish french fries are also crispy and not too oily. Restaurant layout is simple and the staffs here are very friendly.

Typical fast food concept, you order and pay for your food at the counter, collect your drinks, help yrself to chilli/ketchup/serviettes then find your own seat. U will be issued with a beeper device and it will light up and vibrate once your order is ready for collection. Two main sitting area with a kids cor

There is an interesting toy story swap concept here whereby you bring along a pre-loved toy and swap it here. but of course prior to this you need to buy a set meal and top up $2 for a swap card. The interior deco is really worth mentioning, from the army looking Harley Davidson, ceiling fan, wall lights with bee covers to artificial carpet seats and backing, tables made from recycled pallets to comfy looking sofa seats by the window, this entire place exuberates class in design. They also have magazines under use pallet table but a pity i think they do not check for rubbish (the seat i was at had bottle caps and serviettes inside).

 Now for the food, was quite impressed with the french fries which was served together with my tartar chicken special in a army mess thing. i ended up finishing half of the fries before even i started on the burger. The burger confirmed i'm more of a meat person coz the mocked chicken just couldn't leave a taste memory with me, it tasted bland. Actually i struggled abit to finish it. The tangerine crush i had is also disappointing. But i guess the ambiance (it was super quiet, only 2 tables filled) and the nice deco made up for it. Will try omakase next time instead.

After not visiting Turf City for years, I decided one day to head to Giant to purchase some baking needs. Behold! The compound was under renovation and there were a few new eateries. After not visiting Turf City for years, I decided one day to head to Giant to purchase some baking needs. Behold! The compound was under renovation and there were a few new eateries. Most of these are not the typical chains or franchise you commonly find around the island.

I walked pass VeganBurg a few times and love the brightly lit and oh-so environmentally green setting. As shallow and superficial as I was, I was apprehensive of trying vegeburger as I have watched lots of American TV and heard how horrible they taste.

After multiple visits to the area and trying the other restaurants, I decided that I shall listen to the angel hovering over my right shoulder and give it a try. The restaurant was pretty empty except 2 tables (1 family of 5 and a couple). Gathering the courage, I asked the waitress what is good? I was expecting the typical, everything is good kind of answer. But she politely recommended the creamy pepper mushroom burger and the smokey BBQ burger.

In my attempt to eat healthier, I decided to go with the creamy pepper mushroom burger, with a side of seaweed fries and a drink. The choice in this case was Apple blackcurrant juice. It cost $11.85 for the set, which is actually quite expensive compared to the regular M..... Anyway, I was issued one of those pager device which vibrates when you order is ready, and headed to take a seat.

Less than 5 mins later, my food was ready. It was served in a mess tin, very much like those we use in army (refer to photos). I was expecting to see such a large burger (refer to picture with my finger as a comparison). Taking a bite, I was bracing myself for that fake-meat-wannabe-moldy taste to overwhelm my palate. But alas, it wasn't the case.

There was no weird after taste. Was it like beef or chicken? I don't think it does but it reminded me of crab otah. The texture, and taste was kind of like that, crab meat freshly removed from the shell and mashed together to form a patty. Was it good? I decided to take a second bite to re-affirm my suspicion. And boy... was it tasty. The patty was crispy on the outside and tender, juicy inside, which was really quite something and I found myself taking bite after bite of the burger to find something negative to say.

What I found was more positive things to write of. The ciabatta bun was very fresh and easy to eat. There no rubbery resistance like certain burger buns. It kind of just melt in your mouth. The mushrooms were fresh button mushrooms, topped with a peppery cream sauce. As much as I like button mushrooms, I am not a fan of very raw mushrooms. Unfortunately for this burger, some parts of the mushroom had that raw taste. However, if it was immersed in the sauce, it actually soften the mushroom and created a wonderful combination. The sauce was not overpowering and had a good balance of salt and acid to it.

The fries were alright, lightly salted with barely any taste of seaweed to be called seaweed fries. The one thing that really didn't do too well was the drink. The apple blackcurrant juice was basically very very diluted cordial and it really failed to be called juice. Don't order the juices unless you like coloured water that much.

Overall, my adventure to Veganburg has been largely positive and I highly recommend others to try. Oh by the way, I realize they have been around for a while now with outlets in other parts of the island.
