Wadori is actually located on the same premise as Kuriya Japanese Fish Market, along with Ichiban Bento. It is located on the left side of the outlet under the Kuriya sign. Here, you can see a display counter with all the range of Yakitori (Japanese meat skewers) they offer, from Chicken Yakitori to Cuttlefish balls to Gyoza.I have tried a few of their skewers before including the Chicken Karaage, Japanese Sausage and a few others, but this time I got:- Gyoza Dumplings ($1.60)- Chicken Cheese Balls ($1.60)- Chicken Tsukune ($1.40)- Chicken Yakitori ($1.10) My favourites from Wadori are the Gyoza, Tsukune and Chicken Cheese Balls. The gyoza were crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside, while the chicken cheese balls were tender and did not overwhelm with the cheese. Their yakitori sauce was also very tasty but not too overly sweet. I adored having my tsukune with it! The prices are similar to Dango, another stall which also sells Japanese yakitori and is also located at the basement of Causeway Point. I've tried both and personally found that I preferred the tsukune and yakitori from Wadori and chicken karaage from Dango. Wadori also has more variety of yakitori than Dango, and you can also make it a full meal by opting to eat your yakitori with Japanese rice. It's more value for your money to get the set, though I prefer to have my yakitori as it is. Wadori- More variety of yakitori- Option to eat your yakitori skewers with Japanese rice - Option to dine inDango- Slightly sweeter sauce- Has an additional range of onigiri- Take away to eat on the goThe place tends to be pretty crowded during peak hours, since they are sharing the premise with Kuriya and Ichiban Bento, so I usually prefer going slightly earlier for lunch or dinner when there are lesser people. The place is clean and trays were cleared pretty fast when we went, but note that it can get a tad noisy during peak hours.
