來到雅柏熟食中心，先試了「四海」的炒魚頭湯米粉，再來有興趣一試的就是「萬興」的椰漿飯，其實，也沒有刻意找哪一家的，只是民間智慧，看到「萬興」鋪面點菜的客人甚多，應該就不用太擔心了。雅柏熟食中心一如大部份新加坡的熟食中心，選擇多多，卻是價廉物美，當然，用餐環境就比較街坊一點，但勝在氣氛熱鬧，又叫人吃得無拘無束。他們的椰漿飯（Nasi Lemak）是加料版，綠色的飯粒混入斑蘭汁和椰汁同煮，果然很特別，入口很芳香，配料有炸雞翼、午餐肉、炸魚、煎蛋、四季豆，稱得上豐富的一道椰漿飯，怪不得如此多人光顧。

Located just opposite bugis street, Albert centre has many delicacies. One of them is the nasi lemak at the second row corner. It always has a queue but is relatively fast. I love nasi lemak! I usually order set 2. The rice is fragrant, chicken wing is crispy and tasty, the egg is running, peanuts and ikan billis is crunchy and well-fried. Most importantly, it only cost S$2.50. I love nasi lemak! I usually order set 2. The rice is fragrant, chicken wing is crispy and tasty, the egg is running, peanuts and ikan billis is crunchy and well-fried. Most importantly, it only cost S$2.50. Super worth it! Sometimes, I will even have craving for this. I have a friend from Hong Kong who fell for nasi lemak because of this. There are other sets available and you can choose ala carte as well. They also have beehoon and noodles.

There are so over a hundred food stalls in this hawker centre and i was really spoilt for choices every time i am here.I decided to give this stall a try as their bright banner with newspaper recommendation really stood out.And interestingly they have pandan flavoured nasi which is green in colour which i have never tried before.I queued for about 10 minutes and got my plate of piping hot nasi lemak with a few items of my choices such as egg and sausage.However i find the rice is pretty normal,i

We went to Wan Xing Nasi Lemak at Albert Food Centre and ordered Nasi Lemak Set.Their rice is hot, fluffy and palatable. Chicken wing is crispy and succulent.Luncheon Meat and Fried Fish Fillet was cold and soggy but still edible.Fried cabbage is slightly on the oily side. Ikan Bilis is unfortunately stale. Their sambal chili is sweet and mild. I would go back for the rice and chicken wings.

nasi lemak

Suddenly craving for the nasi lemak.So i bought this.This nasi lemak is not bad.But i dont like the rice.It is quite hard and not much of the pandan/santan flavour.Taste like white rice.The chicken is small,but it is quite flavourful.The chilli is nice,but they really gv too few,i cant mix all the rice with the chilli.So i cant finish this dish,as it is too dry because not enough chilli.

 Suddenly craving for the nasi lemak.
So i bought this.
This nasi lemak is not bad.
But i dont like the rice.
It is quite hard and not much of the pandan/santan flavour.
Taste like white rice.
The chicken is small,but it is quite flavourful.
The chilli is nice,but they really gv too few,i cant mix all the rice with the chilli.
So i cant finish this dish,as it is too dry because not enough chilli.

 I ordered their premium set, Set 7 which was consisted of rice with egg, deep fried chicken wing, luncheon eat, fried fish, sambal long beans, cucumber and ikan bilis with peanuts. The rice was wll executed. Warm and fluffy with each grain infused with pandan and coconut fragrant.

 The deep fried chicken wing was crispy on the outside and soft tender on the inside. It was not greasy and still slightly warm.

 I had a hard time with the fried fish as the utensils given was a plastic fork and plastic spoon. In the end, I gave up and used my hands. The fish was fried till it was so crispy that even the small bones at the side were edible. Very fragrant and addictive for fish lovers.

The sambal long beans was quite decently cooked and still retained the crunchiness.

The chill was fragrant and was more sweet than spicy. Personally, I prefer a spicier version.

Overall, the food here is cheap and good! Where else can you get so many ingredients for your Nasi Lemak at just $3.60.

I have been patronising this stall for a while now. I come for their specially marinated chicken wing and their pandan flavour coconut milk infused rice. My set came with luncheon meat and ikan belis with peanuts. Their chilli sauce is aromatic and not too spicy. This stall has very long queue during the lunch and the dinner time also weekends. Good foods are worth queuing up and waiting.

Ordered a simple set meal as I did not want to use my hands to eat the chicken wing.The nuggets were ok, though the skin was not crispy. The hot dog and fries were both very dry. The fries tasted horrible with it being cold and not a slight bit of crispiness at all. The rice was fragrant and the chilli paste was sweet but not spicy.

Actually the speed they serve food is quite fast and yet has a short queue which shows that they are really popular. Since I specially made the trip down, I ordered their premium nasi lemak, it was just S$3.50 only. It has deep fried chicken wing, peanuts and ikan bilis, fried whole fish, luncheon meat, egg, sambal long bean and a slice of cucumber. First bite of the pandan rice, it was fluffy with hint of savoury coconut aroma. The rest of the ingredients were OK except sambal long bean and chicken wing. Deep fried chicken wing is the star of the dish, light batter with really crispy outside and succulent inside, can’t stop eating it. Long beans maintained its crisp green colour with great sambal taste, surprisingly good for such little side dish.

Having said that their sambal chilli is a bit runny and it isn’t spicy hot at all, there is room to improve if they need to.

Overall, it is worth trying if you are around that area. Be warn, during meal time long queue is expected.

A queue was spotted right in front of this stall. Queue is always the guarantee of cheap food or good food, or both. They do have different Nasi Lemak sets available. I wanted the set with Chicken Wing, Luncheon Meat and ikan bilis with peanuts for only $2.20. The chicken wing was good, well-marinated and well-fried, it tasted rather distinctive particularly in the type of seasoning used. The chicken wing was good, well-marinated and well-fried, it tasted rather distinctive particularly in the type of seasoning used. I do think Chicken Wing is as important as the rice in a good Nasi Lemak. Their rice was moist with a little pandan smell and a distinct coconut taste. Sambal Chilli is another important factor of a good Nasi Lemak. The spiciness of the sambal chilli is of a good balanced and nicely aromatic.

Overall, this is one of the nicest Nasi Lemak in town.

This Nasi Lemak stall has always long queue. For a change, we tried the fried mee siam, topped with curried vegetables, and chicken fillet. The mee siam taste was strong, and with the curry vegetables gravy, it tasted sour and slightly spicy. Love the chilli as it complement the whole dish. Generous serving, great value and good taste.

One of the best Nasi lemak in hawker centres i have ever eaten. Whenever I am at the bugis area, I will definitely head down to this stall to eat.The chilli is my favourite. Next is the price. Just for $2, you get to enjoy a cheap and good meal. Very worth the money. Its chicken wing is another ingredient you should try. Cripsy on the outside and jiucy on the inside. Highly recommended
