Wen Tou Xue (已結業)

This stall at Geylang bahru hawker centre sells quite a big variety of desserts and drink. One of my favourite has to be Sea coconut jelly cocktail. It costs $2, and you will get a big bowl of shaved ice which is hollow inside, and filled with lots of sea coconut jelly. The sea coconut is cooked in sugar syrup hence it's pretty sweet, but wiith the addition of lime juice, this dessert is simply too refreshing and cooling!

This is the first time I tried this dessert stall. They serve quite a variety of cold and hot dessert, and the most popular one is the jelly dessert. I did not order that but tried their durian cendol. The huge bowl of cendol consists of shaved ice, greenish cendol, lots of coconut cream, red bean etc. Finally it is topped with a generous spread of durian paste. Overall taste is ordinary and easily acceptable.

Smooth ice kachang for a hot hot day. The ice is shaved with consistency, and shaped well too. The ingredients are a handful, ah tup ji, red bean, black jelly and the green one. This stall has many other desserts like dao suan, red bean soup, green bean soup, chendol etc. Many elderlies here order their cheng teng, will try it the next time round.
