If i'm at Wendy's, i tend to eat one item only and that's the all beef chili. Maybe whenever i'm at Wendy's, so happened there isn't much crowd so not very confident in trying their burgers or fried chicken. But there was once my best friend introduce the all beef chili to me and i was hooked. Rich meaty chili taste which i like and plus point is they added some beans ( kidney beans i think ) to it. Dave's hot and juicy cheeseburger (1/4 pound; single) $8.15 combo set meal: Price was a little steep as compared to other fast food restaurants. The fries tasted not bad but unfortunately they were slightly soggy. The burger was quite yummy and the cheese melted perfectly inside. Besides fries as sides, they have other sides such as baked potatos of assorted flavours as well as side salads which is good since customers can have more varieties to choose from. Griddle Fresh Pancakes served with butter and maple syrup. A set meal (including hot coffee/tea) costs about $7.40, this is a great way to kickstart your day with some magical sweetness! The savoury is a common communion between families with small children. I grew up eating pancakes, so this brings back lots of childhood memories. Though Wendy's does not appear to target families, hipster families can try going to this joint!The Wholesome breakfast with chicken sausage is extremely filling. Slightly more expensive than the pancakes, the wholesome breakfast is similar to McDonald's Big Breakfast, with scrambled eggs the most eye-catching for any ordinary citizen. I could tell that the eggs were not really cooked freshly but were liquid egg though, so i wouldn't recommend you having this! It costs about $7.90.The Coffee with milk that comes in a set is great for aroma therapy, it's not very thick in flavour as you can see from the picture, but rather, in scent. Wendy's got nice ice-cream cone too. It got the chocolate and vanilla one to choose. They served the ice cream in the chocolate cone. The chocolate cone is crispy and nice. The ice cream got creamy taste and not too sweet too. I prefer the chocolate to the vanilla one. The chocolate one got a nice chocolaty taste. It is cheap and nice at 0.70 cents only. Seldom really eat at Wendy's as is more expensive out of the fast food available in singapore. But at this day, went to try the food at holland village outlet as we were at the area. It has two levels. Second level is more comfortable to sit at especially when with alot of friends, need longer table with many seats. The aircon there is v cold though. I bought the Medium size Natural Fries which is sprinkled with sea salt instead of the normal kind of salt. It is actually healthier than other french fries. This costs about $2.40 and the small size is $2.10. Therefore i bought the medium size one, the portion is just nice for one-person or shared among two. I never expect myself to write such a good review for Wendy's. I have tried their burger once when they was newly opened. I disliked like it then and have since stayed away for good. I was happened to be in the vicinity when there was a ongoing promotion of 1 for 1 Hot n Juicy Cheese Burger. I tried it out of curiousity and i actually loved what i taste. The burger came with 2 pieces of cheese served with a slice of tomato, lettuce and onion. The patty used was a 1/4 pound. The patty turned out to be juicy and nice. I enjoyed the burger thoroughly. This is the original chocolate frosty in Wendy's. It is Cool, creamy and refreshing. They are made from 100% cocoa, real milk and cream. It taste really great slurping them in a hot weather, and with the chocolate taste is heavenly nice !The seats over there are spacious with 2 levels of seats, and on the 2nd level, there's washroom too! I actually love to eat fastfoods, however the one at Wendy's really does not impress me. Tried their basic burger, which is their hamburger and was really disappointed. The burger bun is really tough and tasteless. The beef patty was really too thin and small and hiding within the size of the burger buns. You will not realise there is a beef patty meat in it only if you flip it opens. The beef patty itself is also abit overcook and the meat is really tough and totally not juicy. Wendy's a bit pricey. I tried the chicken burger and I do love it. The specialty of Wendy, I think is the baked potato. Of course, I have never tried the authentic one before (in states), to some people, the taste and all differ so much from what they have in states, but I’m contented that it just tastes good. It’s cost same as the normal fast-food restaurant not very expensive too. If I am not wrong, they open 24 hours. It is a good place to hang-out if you have nothing to do at midnight. I ordered this double shrimp burger. Firstly, i thought it would be those kind of process meat and made into a patty but however i was WRONG! I was deeply wrong after my first bite. My mum and I decided to have our lunch at Wendy's. My mum and I love spicy food so I got myself the spicy chicken burger, while she ordered the spicy chicken wings. The staff behind the counter was very friendly and greeted us with a smile. The chicken burger was small but it taste good. The chicken patty is crispy and not forgetting spicy.
