Wild Honey

We love the laid back and cool decoration of Wild Honey. Menu is only available at the counter on the chalkboards and on an iPad at the counter. It's better to decide on your food by viewing the menu online and order when you reached. The queue for food ordering can get rather slow with customers all queuing at the counter deciding on their orders. A breakfast cost minimum $18, FYI ~Spinach Salad - S$16Baby spinach leaves with roasted pumpkin and sweet potato, sunflower seeds, chickpeas and honey mustard dressingOur favourite dish of the day! Portion was sufficient for two to share, fresh ingredients and the roasted sweet potato rock! We were surprised that chilled roasted pumpkin and sweet potato tasted good ;) It tasted firmer and sweeter ;) The dressing made a difference in enabling the salad to stand out.I Love New York - $24Scrambled eggs with caramelised onions and imported smoke sturgeon, served with a toasted sesame bagel with Wild Honey's own creation of cream cheeseWe were disappointed with this dish The scrambled eggs with smoke sturgeon had a mild stinky smell which reminded us of pork that's not fresh. We will have second thoughts for a return visit for breakfast. Had a great brunch at Wild Honey! Other than the long queue, everything about Wild Honey is great! The setting, the food, the service. Boy, I am impressed. We ordered the Tunisian which is a red stew with sausages and 2 fried eggs and 2 toasts. If is SUPER SPICY! I totally love it! The sausages are very chewy and flavourful too! we also ordered the Canadian which has three pieces of very fluffy pancakes with blueberry jam as well as maple syrup. It has been quite a while since I went to wild honey so I decided to bring my family back to this delicious restaurant. they serve different kinds of breakfast, from English to Japanese to Tunisian. I decided to be adventurous and try the Tunisian breakfast, it have never eaten Tunisian food so I did not know what to expect. My second visit and this time we waited for around an hour. They are always full and there's no reservations allowed except walk in ones. This time i had their English breakfast. I didn't really like the bean thingy and sausage. Bread was nice alongside with tomato and scramble egg. All in all, I find this dish a little dry and the portion is HUGE. Other than is a great venue for chill out with friends, here at Wild Honey also have very nice desserts and hot beverages too! Love their waffles with coconut flakes with grilled mango sliced. This is definitely a place to come, and to come again. A nice cozy little restaurant located in Mandarin Gallery, with a nice relaxing ambiance. The menu was written on the board, with iPad showing the photos of the food. All the food certainly looks good and I had such a tough time deciding. I ordered the california breakfast, which was scrambled egg with tofu, peppers, mushroom and herbs, on ciabatta. The egg was light and fluffy, and has the nice herb taste. Wild honey is a all day breakfast place, and it is a great concept! The place is cosy, and the service was fast. Great thing that we came early, cause the place was filled up fast soon after. The only menu was written on a board, but there are two ipads with images of the menu and that will help in the selection, cause there are just too many to choose from. There are a wide variety of breakfast from all over. And we had the English and Scandinavian. I had to say, the portion for English breakfast is huge! There's potato, sausage, tomato, bread and scramble egg. And i love the toast! Its crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect with the scramble egg, which is light and fluffy. Scandinavian consist of grilled salmon on rosti with asparagus. Yummy! The salmon can practically melt in your mouth! Heard many good reviews about wild honey. Decided to try it out recently. However, the waiting time is reeeeaally long! We had to leave our names and contact number with them, move on to shop for one and a half hour or so before we have a seat. Perhaps the lunch time caused the long waiting time. But anyway, the wait was indeed worth it! My friend and I ordered the Belgian Breakfast and English Breakfast. And it was good! We had a nice brunch. The set up of the restaurant was cool too! Wild Honey is a great place for brunch for a slow weekend. I ordered Yemen for breakfast, it’s Malawach (roti) served with hard boiled egg infused with tea accompanied with greens. Wild Honey, a cosy little cafe that reminds me of the hut in Winnie The Pooh, it serves solely breakfast all day, a vast variety of great choices of breakfast by the way.I went for the European: Eggs Benedict. It was pretty good I'll say, even though the portion compared to the American: Big Breakfast definitely seemed inferior, just saying, not that it wasn't enough for me.The poached eggs were soft, fluffy and melted in my mouth. Wild Honey has an interesting concept, the interior design of the restaurant and concept of their menu is very unique. I’m totally in love with it. On my dining experience there, I ordered the Goat Cheese Salad (Salad leaves with pan friend goats cheese, pine nuts, brioche batons and bacon) which costs $15++. Wild honey doesn't have a menu for a start when you walk into their restaurant which makes it quite unconventional as we are so used to having a menu before placing any food orders. Hence it makes it quite inconvenient for diners as we had to stare intently at the board menu to choose what kinda food we want.Not menu-friendly for first-timers.
