Wowodian, located in Mianyang, Sichuan, was founded in 1889, and has a history of over 130 years. Its unique feature lies in the fact that Wowodian always insists on making steamed stuffed bun with real Laomian (traditional sourdough). The technique of making Wowodian bun has been included in the Mianyang City catalogue for the protection of intangible cultural heritage. Nowadays, Wowodian enriched its menu with many more traditional Sichuan cuisine, such as Mianyang rice noodle, mapo tofu, boiling water-cooked sliced meat, and spicy and numbing chicken. Come and taste the flavors of one century ago.
