The cafe was located at an end of a row of shophouses. From the main road, it was blocked by the ongoing construction of the Thomson MRT line. The cafe was decorated with container like structure on the outside, with an industrial colorful look inside. Only cash and NETS was accepted here. The cafe was ran by Muslims, so it was Halal.Menu was a single 2 page paper.Cut The Crab ($15+)Mozzarella cheese crabcakes with remoulade dipIt was packed with chunky meat but tasted a tab fishy.Prawn Aglio Oli ($16+)The pasta was quite flavourful, without too spicy although there was slices of chilli in it.Original Sin ($12+)apple rhubarb crumble vanilla custardIt was served pipping hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Did not see or taste the vanilla custard as written on the menu. The baked apple was stuffed with thinly sliced apple in it.Churros Platter (Bite Sized) ($12+)original, red velevet and pandan served with chocolate & gula melaka sauceThe sauces were in tiny glass bottle which made it quite difficult to dip the churros in. The churros were light and crispy but could not taste the flavours in them.Washed the meal down with a glass of Coconut Shake Float ($8+) which was rich and milky.Best make reservation for weekend dinner as the place filled up rather quickly.

First time trying this cafe by using groupon deal for 2 pax that comes with:1) soup of the day or salad2) main course3) pandan creme brûlée 4) ice lemon teaThe above should have value of $72 for 2 pax as stated in the deal.And so It started off well with the delicious mushroom soup that came with much bites of mushroom though it was a bit too salty and still it went well with the so-so salad.Main course was half burger with mashed potatoes and beef patty. It was salty and grains of salt could be sighted. Well I could still accept the saltiness since my taste bud is towards that. Another main dish was chic lollipop that's reasonably tasty.Here comes to what I cannot forgive when we were served with bread pudding as our dessert instead of the pandan creme brûlée that was explicitly mentioned in the groupon deal. When I asked the waitress why not Creme brûlée, her answer was its the chef's choice. So lo and behold it Was not to be my choice, not what was stated in the deal neither. So this would also mean the supposedly value of $72 would have lessen.Hey, please be reminded that dessert was not stated that it would be based on the chef's selection, unlike soup of the day when one is not given the choice to choose from. Dessert was clearly stated as pandan creme brûlée in the deal! So what can I say about this cafe - WORD. Simply she does NOT KEEP TO HER WORD!!
